1776 RV & Campground (formerly Bairdsnest Campground), Mentone, Alabama
Date of Stay:
May, 2019 -
$37.00
Overall Rating:
This CG is not big rig friendly. Most sits are not level and have a steep step off from the gravel surface. Very tight maneuvering MH around the grounds. They claim to have internet but we could not get it. No TV channels and Dish would not work. This CG is more suited for trailers rather than motorhomes. Owners try to help but CG needs work. We camped at 1776 RV & Campground (formerly Bairdsnest Campground) in a Motorhome.

What a dump. Very tight both getting to CG and in the CG. Sites are very tight and unkept. One big dirt hole. Sites not level. Don't waste your time or money coming here. We camped at Oxbow Campground in a Motorhome.

Northwest River Park Campground, Chesapeake, Virginia
Date of Stay:
May, 2015 -
$26.00
Overall Rating:
Small city run campground that accommodates smaller travel trailers or fifth wheels. No big rigs. Fresh water access is the biggest issue for this campground, as most sites do not have water supply nearby. Most sites are not level and there are some pooling water issues when it rains. Don't waste your time washing vehicles/trailers, as this place can get very dusty. We camped at Northwest River Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tall Pines Harbor Campground, Temperanceville, Virginia
Date of Stay:
April, 2015 -
$56.00
Overall Rating:
Price paid reflects Bay Front site. Bay Front sites are a bit windy but very nice and the view is great. Employee's are very helpful and want your stay to be memorable. CG is a mix of long term residents which are mainly on the back row. All pull-thru sites will take any size rig and are all full hook-up. This CG has something going on every weekend so check the activity schedule. Something for everyone!!!! We will be returning again in September for the 50's Car Hop weekend. We camped at Tall Pines Harbor Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
