Old West RV Park, Reed Point, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park has a small number of sites and each pull through site is the same. The sites are long, semi level gravel, and have grass on both sides. The utilities all work good, wi-fi works good at all hours of the day, and there is very little noise. Suzie, the owner, is A+. There are no fancy extras, which we like. The towns of Columbus or Big Timber are 17 miles in either direction. We will be back.. We camped at Old West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Henrys Lake State Park, Island Park, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Because of the length of our coach, we normally avoid state parks( we need 50 amp.) This visit was quite a surprise. The camp area was spotless, the employees were great and our w/e only site was very large. The sites are back-in on asphalt and they have a slight grade to them, which causes no problem. We had 50 amp. service which is unusual in our travels at state parks. The site had a fire ring, a table and a patio. No wi fi.. Cell phone works good. Yellowstone Park is 11 miles away. The view of the lake and surrounding mountains was A+. The view of the night stars was A++. We will be back.. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Loveland RV Resort, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

If you want to feel like a sardine in a can, camp here. This place has wide sites on the perimeter row, and every row on the interior sections are very tight. They escort you to your site and tell you to disconnect your tow vehicle at the office because the streets are narrow and you will never navigate the turn into your site if you don't. The sites are uneven gravel; some with weeds, some with dirt. With our slides out, our neighbor's slide was 5' away. This place isn't fun, it's a place you visit as a last resort. No satellite, no wi-fi, no Fun. Loveland has that NEW appearance, with all the big name stores. The National park is close by and so you will need to choose your poison; longer drive to park or a terrible RV site. We camped at Loveland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Raton Pass Camp and Cafe (Formerly Cedar Rail), Raton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park is ideal for us because it offers the basics. For a big rig, a full hookup site on the perimeter, will be semi level gravel and no neighbors. The utilities all work, satellite is good, but the wi-fi is bad: Too many people using the small system. The interior sites are very close together and too short for 45' units. The owners need work on their people skills; they don't talk much. The cafe does not exist. We camped at Raton Pass Camp and Cafe (Formerly Cedar Rail) in a Motorhome.

Sugarite S. P. is a must. The loop road to taos is nice, but a all day trip. Not much in town, no one at golf course, that was a +.

Route 66 RV Park, Edgewood, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This rv resort is just West of Albuquerque and has a Casino attached. The sites are wide, with a concrete level pad, and long enough for all types of rigs. The employees are great, satellite is good, but the wi-fi is weak. Repair facilities are close by and the casino food was good. Try the Laguna Burger. We camped at Route 66 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hagerman RV Village, Hagerman, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We've been coming here off and on for 15 years. The park is getting old from lack of upkeep. The sites have gone from gravel to partial dirt and gravel. They are uneven, with a small grass lawn. The surrounding landscape is over grown. The interior roads are almost all dirt now. The park has many large overgrown trees, which now block out all satellite chances. The office has very little supplies. The owner is very helpful, but lack of interest or ability to keep things up is showing. The site is still worth the money, as long as you understand where you are in Idaho. Small town, not much going on. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Motorhome.

Mountain Home RV Park, Mountain Home, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This has to be the best bang for your buck. We stay here on a regular stopover every other year. The sites are level concrete. Wi Fi, satellite, and phone always work great. The sites have green grass and are about 70' long. The people here are always helpful and you can wash your rigs. The down side is the lack of entertainment in the town. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Motorhome.

Polson Motorcoach Resort , Polson, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $99.00
Overall Rating:

This park wants to be in the big league, but it just doesn't know how to do it. As you drive up the road, you notice the green grass and high dollar big rigs. In truth, the sites are ownership types and most of them are decorated A+. That's because they don't rent them out. We got a level, concrete site with grass only. The neighbor 's site was 15' away. NOW here's the funny part. The KOA campground next door is the same management owner. If you want to use the pool, that's at the KOA. If you want to use more than one clothes washer at a time, that's at the KOA. Supplies? At the KOA.. The sites are clean, everything works, satellite signal is good, But you get the same conditions at a $50.00 a night resort. All employees are from the KOA. Think twice about this place. We camped at Polson Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Water's Edge RV Resort, Cascade, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is right on the river. They have about 6 nice sites that are facing the river for long term guests. For all other guests, you get a site that is 9-12 feet wide. The nice sites have green grass, but most sites have small patches of dead grass and very large over grown trees on them. Forget about Wi Fi and satellite signals. The majority of the park caters to long term guests. That means they took an old trashy trailer, left it in the site for years and put personal property all around the trailer. The ownership shows no pride by allowing these conditions. This is a Dirty place, for people who just don't care where they camp. We were forced to stay here due to the fires. We camped at Water's Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Blue Lake RV Resort, Naples, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This park is run by the nicest people. Based on what we saw, they cater to the small trailers with families. For my choice of words, "Campground" best describes the resort. The roads that were once gravel, are mostly dirt. The majority of the sites are dirt and we saw that the majority of the customers have older trailers or motorhomes. If you care about your rig, this might be the wrong place to be. There is a very weak Wi Fi signal, too many trees for a satellite signal and no ability to wash your rig. This park has a lake for swimming, hiking trails and a lot of dirt. Note: there are several pull through sites that would great for high end coaches, if gravel would be added in the future. We don't like dirt. It seems that the owners work extremely hard but, in our opinion, have missed the boat by not attracting high end rigs with cleaner sites. We camped at Blue Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Century Mobile Home and RV Park, West Haven, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This park is right off the freeway and the traffic noise is cut down by the freeway wall. Our site was level concrete and everything worked well. Our site had the brown grass on it, but some sites do have golf course green grass. There are a lot of game areas for the guests within the park. Front desk was great. IMPORTANT - this was new to us - there is a chemical plant near by now and the STRONG smell of tar (like a roof is being resurfaced next door to the park). 24 hours a day you take in this smell. We had headaches at the end of the day. If you have health problems, think twice. We will look for another park, only because of that smell. We camped at Century Mobile Home and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beaver KOA, Beaver, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very nice, the front desk was very helpful and there are a lot of large trees throughout the park. We had site #2, which was semi level gravel. Everything worked very well , except that there was no satellite signal due to the trees. My only complaint is that the park is very dusty.. we will return.. We camped at Beaver KOA in a Motorhome.

Blue Mountain RV Park, Blanding, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This park surprised me totally. As you drive South from Moab, the majority of the rv parks along the highway are dumps; no pride in ownership, take it or leave it attitude. This park is redoing the landscape and it looks beautiful. Site #10 was level gravel and about 65' long. The owner was great, and no long term trashy trailers were present. Everything worked very well here and we'd stay here again.. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is very nice. There are 80 acres to walk and two lakes for the kids. The site we had was semi level gravel, which was about 20 'wide on the entry side. The power, water, and wi-fi was good. If you have dogs, there are walking trails and acreage to explore. The staff is A+ and there were no trees on our site. We will return.. We camped at Anderson / Muncie KOA in a Motorhome.
