Wenatchee River County Park, Monitor, Washington
Date of Stay:
June, 2017 -
$38.00
Overall Rating:
Paved roads & sites. The circle arrangement leaves wide open space on the patio side. All utilities were easy to connect to & worked as expected. Good ATT cell service. We were in B loop & wifi worked good. All sites have picnic table & fire ring. Our site patio opened onto a wide open view of the Wenatchee River. Train noise on other side of river was not a problem. A really big plus, you can wash your coach at your site. Staff was friendly, informative & professional. Next year this park will be a "smoke free" park. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

Family run, friendly & professional. Easy hookup to All utilities & they worked as expected. Stayed in an upper level, pull through site. These sites are terraced with a small, 18" high, retaining wall on the driver's side. Pads are gravel, level & long enough for 40' & toad. Picnic table & fire ring at each site. Wifi worked great. ATT cell service was good. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.
This park is on west end of Port Angeles. Good location to visit Cape Flattery, Lake Crescent, Sol Duc falls & hot springs, Hurricane Ridge Rd., as well as Port Angeles. I.

Riverview RV Park & Storage, Forks, Washington
Date of Stay:
May, 2017 -
$39.00
Overall Rating:
Fairly new park. Easy access to sites. There are some very large sites for the 45 footers. We chose a back in with lots of room for coach & toad. Easy hook up to utilities & they all worked as expected. Picnic table & fire ring. Entire park is gravel, roads & sites. Sites are level. I used pads under jacks because of the gravel & lots of rain expected. Did not use restrooms or laundry (2 washers & dryers $2/load each). Owner is friendly, helpful & professional. Wifi worked great. This is the best RV park in the area. Would stay here again. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

Alabama Hills Recreation Area, Lone Pine, California
Date of Stay:
October, 2016 -
$1.00
Overall Rating:
Camping was free but this site requires you put a number in, hence the $1. Fantastic dry camping. Must take your time getting to most campsites as roads are dirt & can be a little rough. Our campsite had a fantastic view of Mt. Whitney out the front window. If you want views & lots of open space this is the place. Once camped any type car can get around the entire area on the numerous dirt roads.. Lots to see & do in the area. Had stayed once before & look forward to returning again. We camped at Alabama Hills Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Shelburne Camping, Shelburne, Vermont
Date of Stay:
September, 2015 -
$38.00
Overall Rating:
Stayed just 1 night. Sites are tight, access streets are narrow. Right in town so convenient to resturants & attractions. They offered discount to Shelburne Museum which we visited and enjoyed. On divided highway so can't turn left into or out of campground. If staying in Shelburne again I would probably stay here since not much else around. We camped at Shelburne Camping in a Motorhome.
