AOK Camper Park, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

This is just a basic "passing thru" campground. FHUs allow you to use your own facilities. A former KOA campground showing its age. The grounds are clean. The outer perimeter where permanent older campers are parked is neat and tidy. I stayed here 2 nights and if I'm passing thru this way again, I'll definitely camp here again. We camped at AOK Camper Park in a Motorhome.

Elks Lodge #1053 (Members Only), Montrose, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Although this Lodge only offers 30 and 50 amp electric hookups, the power is very good...no surges, brown-outs, etc. In fact, it's so good that we parked/set up both 30 and 50 amp Motorhomes in one site (very roomy sites) and the power never fell below 118. Backin sites. I would stay here again. There's water spigots for your convenience. We camped at Elks Lodge #1053 (Members Only) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walmart is about 2 miles away. I have strong mobility signals. Plenty of places to walk if interested. There's a bar and you can get meals at the club.
