Springville / Provo KOA, Springville, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Dirty...pool closed due to filth. Dog park full of feces and flies. Reserved spot and did not get it. Power went out three times...exposed wires...no cable even though advertised. Bad methane smell from the sewer that had to be dug out to connect to. Mold in showers. 90% of park full with live-ins. We camped at Springville / Provo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Cottonwood, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. The lower campground is a little tight near the back side of the loop, but most of the sites have plenty of room for midsized units. The trails inside the park are great for leasurly strolls. The path around the first pond is fine for wheelchairs and strollers. My grandson had a ball fishing....plenty of park benches for grandpa too! We camped at Dead Horse Ranch State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pismo Coast Village RV Resort, Pismo Beach, California

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Unless you like camping with 399 of your closest friends..this park is not for you. It is a beautiful facility, but the camping is very tight on the south side of the park. Reservations are a must for the north side. Very close to the beach. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground, Buellton, California

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $64.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful park. Lots of amenities and very well kept. They have added new sites on concrete if you don't like dg (I don't mind dg if they are level which they are.) You have grass at every site and beautiful mature trees in the older part of the park. The bathrooms and laundry are very well kept. Wash is $2.00. Fire g is 10.oo per night extra at this space. We camped at Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Rafter J Bar Ranch Camping Resort, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Cannot say enough good things about this park. Beautifully kept grounds and the staff is helpful and pleasant. Loads of shaded sites. WiFi was hit and miss like most parks. Our 4G worked. DirecTV signal was good once we got it tuned in. Centrally located to all the sights. Great for kids. They sell firewood but get it early as they do run out. First class all the way. We are already planning a return trip. We camped at Rafter J Bar Ranch Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Ride the 1880 train to keystone and layover. It's easier that driving up and parking, but make reservations!

Lakeside RV and Campground, Provo, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older park with a lot of people living there. The pool area was packed with friends of the residents making it uncomfortable and very over crowded. Reservations made in advance are subject to change upon arrival. The supplied cable TV is very dark and scratchy reception. Our site had a shared common so we were unable to sit outside without company and was not very level. The site could have been cleaner. There was debree left from the prior guests which looked like ground up colored chalk in the grass and some kind of food. All but a few spots are sharing your camp space...great for traveling with Friends but not if you would like a little privacy... We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Rocky Top Motel & Campground, Green Mountain Falls, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

So glad we found this place. Yes, it's old but the restrooms have been done and are very very clean all the time. They have two Pull Through Sites that give you the most amazing view of the mountains...the kids loved the rec room...pool table ping-pong and foosball and TV. The staff are so friendly, not much in the camp store, just a few things, but Walmart is only a few miles up the hill in Woodland Park. TV reception is great. Their WiFi is slow but verizon 4G was strong. We camped at Rocky Top Motel & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Garden of the Gods Campground, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

With the exception of a few spots, the spaces are horribly small for the price. They put us in a spot different than the one we reserved. We couldn't even park near our spot. And our hookups were on on the wrong side and in our neighbor's spot. No apologies no help...take it or leave it. Very claustrophobic feel... We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Travel Trailer.
