Chapman Creek RV Park, Chapman, Kansas

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We left reviews before. Stayed here off and on for over a year. Love it here, close to Milford Lake for our fishing. Close to KSU for football, basketball, and baseball games. The town is as friendly as they get. The camphosts are the nicest you'll meet. We camped at Chapman Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice. We have stayed here off and on all year and leave our camper in storage here most of the time. We feel very comfortable and welcome. They have the best camp hosts we have encountered. We camped at Chapman Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Chapman Creek RV Park, Chapman, Kansas

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice, new park. Camphosts are great. We are extended stay and pay 400.00/month. They have on site propane exchange or your camper can be filled. Facilities are always very well maintained, we just had 6 inch snowfall and they had it plowed by 9am. Minutes from Junction City and Abilene that have many restaurants, shopping, entertainment. We camped at Chapman Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

It's very close to Milford Lake, this time of year that doesn't matter until spring fishing. There are restaurants, shops, hardware, grocery, etc.. within a mile in Chapman. If you like history, you can be here a year and not get to see it all. We are Kansas State Wildcats and try to go to all the games we can. Fort Riley is a military base close by. We love the movie theater in Junction City, they have big chairs that recline.

Chapman Creek RV Park, Chapman, Kansas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

It is not a very crowded park and the facilities are always available. The showers never ran out of hot water. We only waited one time for the washer and dryer, and it wasn't but 5-10 minutes. Camp hosts are very nice and accommodating. We don't travel with dogs, but they do have a nice fenced in area that keeps the dogs away from our lawn area. We stay here 2-3 weekends a month and store our camper here when we are back home, may eventually move permanently to this area (love the lake and KSU). We camped at Chapman Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

A few restaurants in town about a mile away. Also, in nearby (8 miles) Abilene we ate at a great Mexican restaurant called La Fiesta, and sports bar to watch a football game at Ike's. We went fishing at Milford Reservoir and caught 40 wiper (about 7 lbs. each), what a blast, they are great fighting fish. We stay here for every home Kansas State University game.

Very nice paved roads with lots of room to manuver. Below the dam at Tuttle Creek. Very close to Manhattan. Green grass everywhere. Standing water here and there because of the rains lately. during country music festival, therefore really crowded. lots of big trees. During June, lots of cotton off of cottonwood trees(has a tendency to plug up your a/c) We camped at Tuttle Creek Cove COE in a Fifth Wheel.
