Lakewood Camping Resort, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

Too many golf carts. Fun place with a great water park but overcrowded. I think if we had stayed at a different time of year it would have been a lot more fun. Overall it is good but they could improve the golf cart problem with a little more enforcement of the rules. Road signs apply to golf carts; even the staff ran the stop signs. We camped at Lakewood Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Dunedin RV Resort & The Blue Moon Inn, Dunedin, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

We spent a week here in a 30ft RV. This park had great sites. I had a back-in site but was easy to get in to. Shaded and all concrete pad. The pool and other amenities were nice. No cable, and the Wi-Fi was down the entire week we were there. Location was good and close to Honeymoon Island State Park. We camped at Dunedin RV Resort & The Blue Moon Inn in a Travel Trailer.

Honeymoon State Park is good but a few miles away is Sunset Beach and it is free and very nice.

Sun-N-Fun RV Resort, Sarasota, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Sun n Fun is a big resort style campground. There are lots of activities but pretty restrictive for non-members. Just one example of what I mean by this is, they have about ten horseshoe courts but only one can be used by renters. All the others are for members and permanent residents. They have a really nice grass area for lawn bowling but again only for residents. They staff was friendly and helpful. It is a great place but just be aware of the restrictions. We camped at Sun-N-Fun RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
