Thompson / Grand River Valley KOA, Thompson, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This park has some real potential. Clean spacious and it appears the owners are really committed to making this a great park. The only issues were there is no cable and the TV Antenna could not pick up local prime channels and the WIFI wasn't dependable. So, for 4 days I lost touch with what was happening (maybe that was a good thing). It was easy access for a big rig however our space faced south so we got the hot afternoon sun. We camped at Thompson / Grand River Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

Madison / Pittsburgh S.E. KOA, Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice RV park in the hills but don't if I would stay again. I don't care for the roads in the park. That are gravel and the park is very dusty. My estimation is the park is over priced for the product they offer. The WiFi was great and the sites were level. I am not sure who designs these parks but almost everything is facing south which means you get a hot afternoon sun when you try to sit out. We camped at Madison / Pittsburgh S.E. KOA in a Motorhome.

Cherry Hill Park (Washington DC), College Park, Maryland

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

The park was big rig friendly and clean. We had trouble with the WIFI but that was eventually corrected. If you want to visit DC this is a very good place to stay. Easy access using the Metro. We camped at Cherry Hill Park (Washington DC) in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort, Emporia, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Big Rigs stay clear. We couldn't keep power. For what you get they are overpriced. I wasn't told about cable when I checked in but found a cable connection. I called the office and they said that would be $2.00 more dollars. I don't like getting nickel and dimed. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in a Motorhome.

Lumberton / I-95 KOA, Lumberton, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This RV Park has the nicest couple as the new owners. It is migrating into a KOA and I am confident the new owners will make this an awesome park. Little rugged right now but for a one or two night stay it was very comfortable. We camped at Lumberton / I-95 KOA in a Motorhome.

Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This is not your typical campground but a place you could want to live. Every site has pavers for the coach and patio. Each site is separated by plants, bushes and trees. A lot of privacy. We camped at Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.
