Terrell RV Park, Terrell, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here two years ago and can see improvements to the roads and sites. The location is convenient to lots of shopping and even a movie theater has been added nearby since our last visit. It's close to the highway, but you get used to the traffic noise and soon don't notice it. Check-in was easy and questions answered quickly via text message. We camped at Terrell RV Park in a Motorhome.

Eagles Landing Resort & Recreation (formerly Bears Den Resort), Grove, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great park on the lake, plus they have two fishing ponds. There are all the amenities you expect from a resort, most of which we didn't use because of the time of year and a short stay. Even though we were fairly close to the main road in a pull-through, we didn't notice the noise that much. There was lots of space between campsites. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Eagles Landing Resort & Recreation (formerly Bears Den Resort) in a Motorhome.

Wind River View Campground, Boulder, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Convenient to the highway; some noise but tolerable. No trees, so sunny and at times windy. Fishing a river was close, fishing lakes required driving but there were many to chose from - mostly dirt road access. The office person was friendly and accommodating. The WiFi was not good, but that was more a location problem than the park being willing to have enough we learned. Verizon worked okay for small tasks, but was similar when it came to streaming. Hookups were convenient; water very soft. We camped at Wind River View Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Pinedale is 10 miles away with lots of restaurants and a big grocery store plus. Make time to visit the Museum of the Mountain Man if you can - excellent displays. Cowboy Country Distillery is amazing, but expensive - you get what you pay for! Burger Barn was a favorite lunch stop. The restaurant at the Boulder Store is very good also.

Snake River RV Park & Campground, Idaho Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Very handy to highways for day trips. Sewer hookup is at the back, so good for trailers and not so much for motorhomes. Well maintained and offered an inexpensive pancake breakfast each day to help those moving on quickly. Staff were helpful and friendly, the grounds were well cared for. WiFi was sporadic and Verizon worked well. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Douglas County Fairgrounds, Roseburg, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access from the interstate and easy to navigate the campsite area. The location of the office was a little confusing - in the Admin Building of the fairgrounds - so I walked back to pay after we parked. All the pull-through sites were taken so had to back in, but no problems storing the tow dolly next to the motorhome. Verizon worked well, the campground WiFi was typical. We stayed during the week and there we not many others. We camped at Douglas County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Sandy Riverfront RV Resort, Troutdale, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Don't use GPS to get to the park! It will take you across a bridge you don't really want to be on. Other than that, the park is easy to navigate and well run. Sites are close, but not too bad. There's space beside the rig to park your vehicle off the interior roadway. Good location for sightseeing. WiFi was great and Verizon was good. Management was good to work with. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Neskowin Creek RV Resort (Membership Required), Neskowin, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice resort park with activities if you choose to participate. Easy to navigate, easy the get to and from for sightseeing. Great staff. The site was mostly level and easy to get in and out of. Roads are dirt/gravel and could use some hole filling, but easy to navigate. We used Verizon for WiFi, but purchasing time was available, as was cable which we didn't use either. We camped at Neskowin Creek RV Resort (Membership Required) in a Motorhome.

Kamp Klamath RV Park, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Reality - there are very few pull-through sites. However, the sites are relatively spacious. It's a busy park, so sometimes the staff are overwhelmed, but they do a good job. The Saturday night dinner and entertainment were the highlight. The park is convenient to sightseeing in the area. We camped at Kamp Klamath RV Park in a Motorhome.

French Camp RV Park Resort & Golf Course, Manteca, California

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Convenient to the highways without the noise and easy to get in and out of. There is no longer a lake - it has dried up. The sites are large with some shade in some sites. WiFi has not come to their area, but Verizon worked fine. Nothing fancy, but we'd stay again when in the area. We camped at French Camp RV Park Resort & Golf Course in a Motorhome.

Walker River Resort, Smith Valley, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

The primary focus in this area is ATV and dirt bike play. The sites are close but not tight. The WiFi is not bad unless it's the weekend and the park is packed. Verizon worked okay during those times. The facilities are very good and the RVers we encountered were nice and respectful of each other. The river was still running high, so we didn't spend any time at the beach area. The pool and clubhouse area was very nice and the laundry was a good price and large. Even though it's remote, we would stay here again. Stock up before you arrive as Walmart is an hour away. To go to Lake Tahoe from here you will go over the mountains and the roads are twisty but good. We camped at Walker River Resort in a Motorhome.

Deer Creek RV Park, Porterville, California

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park is older, but well maintained for the most part. Even though it’s close to a major road, it was quiet because of the big trees between. There is no WiFi and Verizon was weak. TV reception was strong with lots of choices. The sites were very spacious. The utilities were good and well placed. The interior roads could use some work, but not too bad. We camped at Deer Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park was easy to get in and out of and conveniently located. The staff was great. The WiFi was not, but Verizon wasn’t much better at times. The sites were spacious and the laundry large and very reasonable. The price of propane was also good and filling easy. We camped at Page Lake Powell Campground in a Motorhome.

The Canyon Motel & RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are easy to get in and out of and are level. The bath house and laundry were a little inconvenient because of parking. I had to drive because of my laundry load, but still had to carry quite a ways. Oh, don’t use the change machine - go to the office. If it doesn’t work, you don’t get refunded. WiFi was good mostly. Verizon was good all over this area. We camped at The Canyon Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Carlsbad KOA, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This was a convenient location with equally good utilities. The park is easy to get into, is big rig friendly, and the sites are mostly level. The laundry was small but the cost was beyond fair. Even though a main road was close, by nightfall there was very little traffic... and the night sky was unhindered by city lights. We would definitely stay here again. The cost shown is based upon a weekly rate. We camped at Carlsbad KOA in a Motorhome.

BC Ranch RV Park, Alpine, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This park is convenient to Fort Davis as well as Alpine. Electric and water were good, WiFi was not bad, Verizon was useful, and the cable got us to the major networks. Even though we were beside the road, it is not a busy road so there was not much noise. Laundry was clean and cheap. We would stay here again if in the area. We were on site 1.
