Monterey Pines RV Campground (Military FamCamp), Monterey, California
Date of Stay:
September, 2016 -
$33.00
Overall Rating:
Love this RV park. Have been several times. Always find the bathrooms to be clean and staff to be very friendly. This time, however, 2 of the shower stalls were inoperable, so just had to share the one good stall with others. No problem. I'm sure it will be fixed by the time we return. We camped at Monterey Pines RV Campground (Military FamCamp) in a Travel Trailer.
Very small park. Everyone with a large trailer or motorhome had a tough time parking, but they all finally got into their spots with some effort. Not many pull throughs, mostly back ins even for the larger vehicles.

Reno KOA at Boomtown, Verdi, Nevada
Date of Stay:
September, 2016 -
$40.00
Overall Rating:
The main thing everyone noticed is that water is leaking everywhere. There is a puddle of water near the pool and our water hook up leaked and flooded our site. The front office staff said there is only one maintenance man and it will take forever to fix anything. We camped at Reno KOA at Boomtown in a Travel Trailer.

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post, Albuquerque, New Mexico
Date of Stay:
July, 2016 -
$25.00
Overall Rating:
Old park with old bathrooms. They are clean, but old. Very convenient to Camping World. It's right on Route 66 and was a trading post in the 1940's. There are a few vintage travel trailers to rent out as cabins. There is a collection of antique memorabilia throughout the property. They should dust them once in a while. It would look more attractive. We camped at Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post in a Travel Trailer.

Johnny Appleseed Campground, Fort Wayne, Indiana
Date of Stay:
July, 2016 -
$44.00
Overall Rating:
This is a small state park. Only water and electricity at the camp site. Dump station near the bathrooms. No complaints. It's a perfectly fine RV park. My main concern is always the bathrooms and since they were clean, I am a happy camper. We camped at Johnny Appleseed Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This was a very nice park tucked away from the noise of the highway, but close enough for our one night stay of our cross country tour. Staff was very nice and helpful. The park is laid out nicely with easy access sites. A very nice option. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
