Lazy Days Campground, West Bend, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We will never come here again. This is the first time my family has camped without doing a drive through and we will never do it again. The place looks like a camper junk yard. It's 90% seasonals and most of them are 1970s vintage, old, rusty, covered in rotting tarps and moss. Most of their seasonal sites are overgrown and full of junked patio furniture and weeds. I wouldn't doubt if most of them are abandoned. Because it's mostly seasonals, the people are rude to the weekend people. The kids wouldn't "allow" my boys to play on the playground and we're mean to them by the beach, as the owner watched and did nothing until I stepped in and took my kids back to our site. The game room is dirty and the newest song on the jukebox was from 2003. I took one look at the bathroom and decided I'd rather pee in the woods. The sites are VERY unlevel and the electrical is FRIGHTENING. Not to mention you'll need at least 20 feet of cord to reach it. Never again. We camped at Lazy Days Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Caledonia, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

We've been staying at this campground for years and will continue for years to come. If you have kids, this is the place to camp. Some sites are narrow but most are pretty level. Hookups are updated and close to pads. PLENTY for the kids to do, along with scheduled activities on weekends. The staff is friendly and the owners are great! They have activities for kids ages 2 to 18 and even have adult activities! A fun place to be. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Travel Trailer.
