Seward Military Resort (Military FamCamp), Seward, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

If eligible, great place to stay. Our site was generally level, but we did have to use leveling boards, though we might have shifted the RV a bit to and fro. Shady, gravel sites. Many support facilities. Excellent staff who can set up discounted excursions. We walked to and from the excellent downtown restaurants, but it's about 2 miles. Set back from the highway, so noise is not a factor. We camped at Seward Military Resort (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Denali RV Park & Motel (Privately Owned), Denali National Park, Alaska

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

First time RVer. Stayed three nights. Early in season, so had a nice level site far from the highway. Managers were terrific and we did glacier landing and ATV excursions with pickup at the office. Highway work was a travel issue, but it has to be done. If this park were full up, it could be quite crowded, as the spaces are close together with little shade. It's quite wooded on three sides of the park. We camped at Denali RV Park & Motel (Privately Owned) in a Motorhome.

River's Edge Resort, Fairbanks, Alaska

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

First time RVer. Pleasant, well run operation. Given a site near the office with no shade, though nice treed ones were seemingly available. For one night, didn't matter. Self service RV wash was excellent and in high demand. Chena River Grill was a huge disappointment, pricey and the service cost us a three hour block of time! Office staff very friendly. Nice place to stay. We camped at River's Edge Resort in a Motorhome.

Tok RV Village, Tok, Alaska

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Enjoyed our one night stay. Early in season and park wasn't crowded. Pleasant forested site, gravel, level and relatively spacious. Rained much of the evening, but mud was hardly present, either at the site or walking to the facilities. Very friendly reception. Would stay agin for sure. We camped at Tok RV Village in a Motorhome.

Hi Country RV Park, Whitehorse, Yukon

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

First time RVers. Stayed one night. Site was fine: pull thru, level, gravel. Staff was friendly and efficient. Our site was shaded and only had one space beside it. For May the park was quite full. It's convenient, but nothing special. We would stay here again. We camped at Hi Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Northern Rockies Lodge , Muncho Lake, British Columbia

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Despite some negative reviews, we were looking forward to our one night stay and having a nice dinner. Great setting, and we appreciate the large lodge which has been built. However, the emphasis in on fishing trips, not the users of the RV Park. Everything was so overpriced: the site, the gas, the dinner. Site was in the trees, but right on top of the one to the side. Laundry and restrooms existed and were clean enough, but seemed run down.I'd avoid this place. We camped at Northern Rockies Lodge in a Motorhome.

Northern Lights RV Park, Dawson Creek, British Columbia

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

First time RVer. Stayed one night. Nice, level, gravel pull through. Not particularly attractive, with some unkempt full time residents close by. Owners were great. Sites reasonably separated. And has been stated, the laundry/shower area is immaculate. WIFI was intermittent, but when it worked was good enough for Facetime. Definitely would stay again. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hinton / Jasper KOA, Hinton, Alberta

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

First time RVer. Stayed 2 nights. Low occupancy meant lots of space. Some facilities only partially opened. Nice, level, gravel pull through. Management was terrific, helping out with cable connection, and helping to set up emergency brake service the first morning in downtown Hinton. Lots of open space and far enough off highway that noise was not an issue. Nice park. Recommended. We camped at Hinton / Jasper KOA in a Motorhome.

Bow RiversEdge Campground, Cochrane, Alberta

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

First time RVer. Stayed one short night. As described, the very close sites have hedges between them, which is very attractive and helps privacy. Level pull through. Walk along river is pleasant. A bit far from the TransCanada, but it's a nice park. Office was efficient and friendly. Despite it being May, it was fairly full. Recommended. We camped at Bow RiversEdge Campground in a Motorhome.

Gateway FamCamp (Military FamCamp), Malmstrom AFB, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

If eligible, why stay elsewhere? Level, concrete pull through pads. Sites are close together, but the grounds are spacious. Turn to the right directly before the main gate to Malmstrom. Stayed only one short night. If Outdoor Rec is closed (as was the case for our stay), can pay by envelope. We camped at Gateway FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Peter D's RV Park, Sheridan, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

First time RVer. Level, pull through, gravel sites. A bit tricky to find without GPS. Early in season, so users spaced out, but they would be quite close when full. Short overnight. Friendly owner. Recommended. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.
