Sundance RV Park and Campground, Columbia Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Fairly spacious layout amongst mature trees and just a few miles from Glacier NP. The park was quiet and peaceful and our site had plenty of shade throughout the day. The bathrooms were impeccable - some of the nicest I've seen. Pads and driving surfaces are gravel. We had a pull-through site, which had ample electricity and good water pressure. No sewer hookups at this park, but there is a dump station. Spacious site with picnic table and fire ring.

If intending to use the Wi-Fi, be prepared for bandwidth and connectivity issues. This is not the fault of the RV park, as this issue is consistent throughout the area due to limited providers and complete saturation during peak times. We camped at Sundance RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Beyond just Glacier NP, there are a number of amenities if you're willing to drive to Columbia Falls, Kalispell and Whitefish, including great restaurants, groceries and retailers.

Cloverdale RV Park, Cloverdale, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The setting is beautiful. Nestled amongst mature trees with a sizable pond and a meadow to the East side. The facilities are still undergoing gradual renovations, according to the owner. Electric/water only sites are on slopes, but the full hookup sites are relatively flat. Foot and vehicular travel areas are gravel. The ground does not drain well and a decent rain will leave the park soggy and muddy for hours. But, when the weather is sunny and the temps mild, this is as pretty a park as any.

I've stayed here three times, between 3-7 days per visit and plan to return. Be advised the bathrooms are dated, water pressure is poor, there have been spiders and hornets in the women's room on all three visits. Both owners have been especially friendly and professional. Nice laundry facility. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you walk to the one of the east corridors of trees on a late summer night, you will be treated to a stunning nature display from the resident lightning bugs!
