Tenderfoot Creek Campground- Chugach National Forest, Moose Pass, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Dry camping. Beautiful setting. Big spots. Lots of mosquitos. Our spot was level and very nice. It had fire ring and picnic table.

Dump station and host.

It was a very nice campground and easy to park.

We enjoyed this little spot and would recommend it. We camped at Tenderfoot Creek Campground- Chugach National Forest in a Motorhome.

Alaska Canoe and Campground, Sterling, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $150.00
Overall Rating:

We had read a review on the park on this site, but this place was recommended by friends of ours that have been coming up for many years. They told us the place was great, so we decided to try a night here before going to Homer fishing.

We found it just perfect ! Our 45 ft rig was put in a nice wooded lot. We had Wi-Fi, and a firepit and table. And we used their dump station and filled with water. We went on to Homer next day but returned to stay 5 more nights.

Just a great place, we are 66 and 68 and we even tried a canoe out on a lake near by. We saw moose and baby calf, a few loons and trumpeter swans.

We kept our halibut in the campground freezers and shipped overnight fish back home. Just a great experience for us

We will be back again. We camped at Alaska Canoe and Campground in a Cabin.
