About rvtraveler43

We always prefer space, quiet, privacy. Nature, grass, trees, birds. We do find rough camping and state parks, reservoirs, some Indian Reservation campings good. We have been in some private RV parks that are terrible: Uneven, narrow sites, noisy, not dog friendly even when they advertise. I understand property is not cheap but if you are going to have RVers, comeback, act like you care. Give them room to enjoy the stay.

Double Dice RV Park, Elko, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night. Pull-through, level, gravel, full hookup. Train noise and coming and goings. Nice friendly service and clean. Dog walk in back with bags provided. Restaurant, RV supplies. I am not sure I would come back. We camped at Double Dice RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Winnemucca RV Park, Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Our personal preference is space between next camper (too narrow). Dog area is like a small gravel cage, no place to walk. Very friendly and clean, but more like a parking lot, they cram you in. Sorry, won't go back. We camped at Winnemucca RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Elko RV Park At Ryndon, Elko, Nevada

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We have stopped here for years and have found the park to be clean and well maintained, especially with the current owners. Even if most of the park has full time residents the park is quiet and clean. Some workers coming and going during the night but not disruptive. Full hookups and drive-thru convenient stopover. It has grass and shade trees. It is 10 miles to Elko but easy off and on from I-80. Will return. We camped at Elko RV Park At Ryndon in a Travel Trailer.
