Durango RV Resort, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We have passed by this park many times before, but decided to stop and stay for a bit. We got a river view back in site. Highly recommend spending the couple of extra dollars for them. The park is super clean and well taken care of. Most of the sites are pull thru's that are at least 70 feet long. This resort has a great pool and one of the best club houses we have seen. The staff here are top notch and super friendly. The only draw back is the highway noise, but after a bit you don't really notice it. Inside your rig you can't hear it. Will highly recommend this park to others in the future and we will be back for sure. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Sounds of the Sea RV Park, Trinidad, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 days. The drive in is no problem. When we arrived the office had booked us for the wrong month, but corrected the error and ensured we still had a spot for the entire 3 days. Getting into the pull through a with a 40 footer was a bit of a challenge as turning is tight. Also their website says all sites can see the ocean. Actually only about 6 can and they are taking be locals. The park is only a 10 walk down to Patrick state park which is beautiful. We also went the few miles south to the town of Trinidad which is a quaint little town. The grounds were clean as well as the laundry room. The locals that stay there for the summer were very open to others that were just passing through. Last note make sure you only use the access road from the north from the 101 as the road south of the park is very rough. We didn't even like driving it without the rig. We camped at Sounds of the Sea RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
