Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stay at Las Vegas RV Resort every time we get to Vegas. (At least twice a year). We have looked at other places, but saw no reason to spend the extra money. We come to LV for the shows, the food and some gambling. This place is clean, quiet and safe. And at $29 a night you have a little left over for the fun stuff. Our dog likes it here too, she wakes me up at 7 every morning just to go to the dog park. It's not that far of a walk. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Orangeland RV Park, Orange, California

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $76.00
Overall Rating:

Any time I pay $80 and I don't get room service, I cringe. But seriously that's about all I didn't get. And it is LA ya know. Lady that checked us in, AWSUM wish I got her name. Treats for the dog and other stuff. Sites are tight, but the trees give you plenty of privacy. We were in #31 deluxe site. Plenty of room for 40 foot Alfa. We were only there 2 nights so we didn't use any of the amenities. Will stay at Orangeland again if we are in the area. We camped at Orangeland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Circle B RV Park, Ruidoso, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for the month of June 2016. Owners and employees were great and very helpful. Always doing something to keep the place in tip top shape. The park seems to be divided by length of stay. Overnight/short stays on west side, seasonal in middle and permenate on east side. Permenate sights are neat, look good and seem to be limited to only a deck. Most sights are buddy sights, don't have to look at your neighbors sewer, but you will share common area. There are also alot of the very small ants. NOT a problem, just a nusance. Close to track and town. If not for the buddy sights I would have rated this park a 10. Rate reflects monthly rate of $500. We camped at Circle B RV Park in a Motorhome.

Canyon Point Campground (USFS), Heber, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Great get place to get away from the heat of Phoenix and Tucson. Lots of room between sites. Easy in/out with 40' Motorhome. It's a NF campground which is run buy Thousand Trails. Very unlike the normal TT camp grounds. They do honor the senior pass. I don't know if they did this because they were very busy, or it is a normal procedure. But they assigned the first come sites on our visit. Those who have large 5th wheels and motorhomes know the benefit of this. Will stay here again. We camped at Canyon Point Campground (USFS) in a Motorhome.

Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Ok its all gravel. But for the price, you can't beat it. We were just passing through so only stayed one night. But if I needed to stay in the area longer, this would be the place. Don't worry about the small truck stop down the hill, didn't hear a thing, but it is convenient for a fill up. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Motorhome.

Barstow / Calico KOA, Yermo, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Making the run from the California Coast to Southern AZ is always very hot in the summer. Although not a destination this KOA is a good overnight stop. Level gravel sites with shade and room for larger motor homes. We camped at Barstow / Calico KOA in a Motorhome.

Wine Country RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Every once and awhile you have to treat your self to something nice. This is the place. We like staying in National Forest camp grounds. KOA's and the likes while on the road. So $70 a night was a step. But well worth it. Well spaced concrete sites with grass a tree between sites. Family pool as well as an adult pool. Entertainment and wine tasting. Easy in/out with 40 ft. motor home although you do have to unhook the toad. If ever in the area we will definitely stay here again. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very busy with many families. Staff seems to be always cleaning, and it shows. Enough room for our 40 ft. motor home although we did have to unhook toad. Good place for an outing with the kids or a overnight stay. We camped at Mt. Lassen / Shingletown KOA in a Motorhome.

Kamiah / Clearwater River KOA, Kamiah, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Is now known as Kamiah/Clearwater River KOA. Lots of tall trees providing lots of shade. We reserved on line and when we arrived at our site we realized that though long enough, there were only inches between the mirrors and the trees. We did not stay. Place looked great for tents, tent campers and small trailers, but not for 40 ft motor homes. We camped at Kamiah / Clearwater River KOA in a Motorhome.

Rainbow Point Campground (USFS), West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

Plenty of room between sites and well kept campground. Easy in/out with 40 ft. motor home. Beautiful lake. If the road in and the mosquitos were addressed I would have given the camp ground a 10. On our visit the road in was a wash board and my red car was brown from the dust. We camped at Rainbow Point Campground (USFS) in a Motorhome.
