Nugget RV Park, St. Regis, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

It should get an eleven...this is what all RV parks should aspire to be. It's clean and well kept the rv spaces/drives are gravel but well maintained to keep them level. Each space has a nice grass area with a table and fire ring. We stayed in site 62 a pull through facing the woods on the perimeter of the park, each morning we would watch a group of 16+ wild turkeys wander around the park and then a few deer would take there turn grazing...it's just a really nice park. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) , Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

What can you say about an RV park that is in such a beautiful location but is so overly priced and overly used. I guess they can charge what they want and most likely don't feel they need to upgrade. I can see paying the higher price but I should expect a much better product. The spaces are squeezed between pine trees and every space is unlevel in one direction or another some better than others (plan on using additional leveling blocks). We stayed in a 36' motorhome and had to find the sweet spot front to back to minimize the front wheels from being completely off the ground. All they need to do is regrade and gravel the access roads / spaces and that would turn this from a Good park to an Excellent park. But that will never happen so enjoy the surrounding areas and pack extra leveling blocks.

An additional heads-up: I believe the picnic tables are designed and built by and for the tiny forest gnomes because if you're of normal human size you'll have a challenge sitting down and struggle get up. We camped at Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone's Edge RV Park, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very nice, all the spaces being gravel with a small patch of grass separating you and your neighbor. The best spaces are the back-ins on the south end of the park, the center grouping is your typical pull-through but the north end has some very nice back-in sites in sets of two laying in a V shape which works very nice when traveling with another group. It gives you a very large grassy area between rigs for sharing an evening cocktail or two together.

The only disappointing/frustrating issue was that when we arrived the south end back-in site that we had reserved in May (which was one of the main reasons we decided to stay at this park) was not available. Apparently they had forgot to write my reservation down for that space "but they were very sorry" and proceeded to stick us in the middle of all the other pull-through sites. It just seems that no matter how much planning/organizing and confirming you do to set up your road trips you're always at the mercy of the weakest link on the other end of the phone, so you end up disappointed and frustrated but feeling better because they were very sorry!

We stayed here in a 36' RV with tow car. The access in/out and around was easy to maneuver. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

City of Livingston is interesting....there's a great BBQ place just down the road and if you've wanted to ride a Camel there's a place to do that right across the highway from the RV Park. $25.00 gets you a short ride plus an up close and personnel interaction with the herd.

Ennis RV Village, Ennis, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice park and well maintained, the wifi, like in most places, was weak and useless for almost any internet activity. We stayed in site #70, a pull-thru with a 36' motor home. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The RV park is closely located to the town of Ennis including many other interesting places to visit like Virginia City.

The nearby golf course is only 9 holes but well kept and challenging with great views of the valley... Willies Distillery in Ennis bottles an excellent "Bighorn Bourbon" and the local butcher shop "Deemo's" is also a great place to shop for a Montana size steak.

Harmony Lakeside RV Park, Silver Creek, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in space 38 with a 36' motor home...it is across the drive from the office and parking area where everyone stops to check-in, you feel like you're in the middle of a traffic jam all day. The best spaces are 77 and 78 but there are a lot of good spaces throughout. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they also do a boat launch and retrieval for a minimal fee which is a great asset as it allows you to bring your own boat. Overall a very nice place with great access to the Cowlitz River and Mayfield Lake. We camped at Harmony Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Little Creek Casino and Resort, Shelton, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice park with concrete pads and a small grass area between each space. Casino is typical but they have a great Seafood Bar restaurant and a Cigar/Whiskey Bar tasting lounge upstairs. There is a golf course which is a part of the complex and is challenging. We camped at Little Creek Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.
