Fair Park RV Park, Hope, Arkansas

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Most of the sites are just W/E; they have one section of full-timers and we were able to get one of those FHU sites as some of the W/E sites had no water. Water quality was good; electric was good, but check the breakers. Very nice people in office. They have one washer & dryer but I went to Hog Wash Laundromat instead. Also have showers in there. Verizon coverage very good; OTA TV stations not good. Mostly just PBS stations. They give you a key to get in after hours. Road goes up to the lake with a trail around it. We camped at Fair Park RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

All FHU sites; pull through & back in. No other facilities. Sites are all paved with gravel to the side (no grass) with picnic table. Verizon coverage good; OTA TV stations good. There is a huge grassy area in the front and a nice trail at the south end of the park going onto Wildlife Mgt area. Office located somewhere else; just find a spot and call the office and they will come to you. We camped at Lower White River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cherokee Landing Campground, Saulsbury, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Got one of the 6 FHU sites in Phase 1. It's a large and level gravel site with a grassy area; picnic table, grill & fire ring. Water quality is pretty good; electric good. Got some OTA TV stations; Verizon coverage good phone gets 2 bars on 4G. Jetpack picks up 3 bars on 4G. We walk along the road where old, old sites used to be starting with 16-1 down to the levy, then wind our way to the trail behind the lodge across from the swimming pool Laundry room is close and reasonably priced. We camped at Cherokee Landing Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't go to the Walmart in Bolivar; it's not very good and Tennessee is expensive. Would recommend Walmart in Corinth, MS. The National Field Dog Museum is in Grand Junction, TN; nice museum and very interesting.

Natchez Trace Thousand Trails NACO, Hohenwald, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Should have heeded the reviews I read. Roads are tight; sites are weird to get into; on an angle and not easy to back into. Not many FHU sites acceptable so took a W/E site. The water quality is good but not sure about electric; had good voltage but running the A/C and TV at the same time their breaker popped twice. Had a hard time resetting it. Not many OTA TV stations and virtually no Verizon service (1x for phone; 1 4G bar on jetpack, which did not get us anywhere. Nice looking buildings and lots of annuals. Stayed 1 night and left. We camped at Natchez Trace Thousand Trails NACO in a Travel Trailer.

Diamond Caverns RV Resort & Golf, Park City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Put us in the middle row of FHU pull through 30amp sites that are VERY close together and facing one another. There are other 30amp sites but we were not told about those. The water quality was good; electric good; picnic table & fire ring. Tent sites. Big pool; playground; activities; huge grassy areas all over. Laundry $$ Diamond Caverns golf course has a golf cart trail behind office to walk dogs to golf course. Verizon coverage good; OTA TV stations good. There is also a bike & walking trail that goes all the way to the Visitor Center. We camped at Diamond Caverns RV Resort & Golf in a Travel Trailer.

The park does not have many open sites for rental; most people here are annuals. Section B full with annuals and Section A had a few sites open for rent. FHU; water quality good; electric good; picnic table and fire ring. No cable and internet semi-OK; lots of OTA TV stations. Many trails for walking (golf cart trails); lakes for boating or fishing. County Park with a few FHU and W/E sites; all pull through. Some don't have close water hookup and we had to move just to get water; picnic table; tent sites. Water quality good; electric good. OTA stations OK; Verizon OK. Three mile paved walking/bike trail; water park; lodges. Very big park. We camped at Burdette Park in a Travel Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park-Plymouth, IN, Plymouth, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a huge park with most of the sites filled with annuals. They have back-in rental sites mixed in here and there. The electric was OK as the breaker and plug were old and loose; water quality was good. Placement of the utilities were crazy with the W/E and sewer hookup about 40 feet apart. We hooked up to the W/E and ran a hose to the septic for the gray water, then dumped on the way out. Internet was OK, no cable, but got OTA TV stations. They have two pools, playgrounds; activity center; ranger station; great laundry rooms, reasonably priced. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park-Plymouth, IN in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Great county park with about 6-7 W/E sites; electric was good and water quality was good; dump station. Grassy back-in with picnic table, grill and fire pit. Huge park with baseball field, picnic area, splash pad and playgrounds. Very nice gravel walking trail around the park with another 1 mile grassy trail around the soybean field. Park is in very good shape; workers there during the day and police checking on the park. We camped at Hidden Diamonds Park in a Travel Trailer.

Arrowhead Lakes (formerly Lakewood Village Resort), Wapakoneta, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Had a nice pull through FHU level site; had good electric and good water quality. They have cabins and tent sites. It was all gravel with picnic table and fire pit. There are three huge ponds with too many Canada Geese. They offer paddle boats, beach, mini golf, playground. Nice new good size dog park. Clubhouse with tables and billiards($). Indoor pool with two hot tubs. Nice laundry room reasonably priced. We camped at Arrowhead Lakes (formerly Lakewood Village Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

Maywood Community (55+ primarily long term), Chesterland, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

They offer 8 FHU sites with gravel for the RV and concrete patio, picnic table, with a small grassy area; bushes between the sites make it private. The sites are level with good electric and good water. The Community has very nice manufactured houses in good condition with well-kept yards. There are no restrooms or showers and no laundry facilities. The management is very nice and I would highly recommend this place if you are staying near Cleveland. We camped at Maywood Community (55+ primarily long term) in a Travel Trailer.

Thousand Trails / Kenisee Lake RV Campground, Jefferson, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Nice back in site FHU with good quality water and electric. Gravel site with picnic table and fire pit. Lots of annual people here with a few sites open for short stays. They have a pool and playground. Six washers and dryers in the laundry room, reasonable cost. There are no trails into the woods but there is a trail around the park and around Kenisee Lake. They have a ton of Canada geese here and they wander all over the grass, road and leave their dropping everywhere (UCK). So far I have not seen any activities for the guests as lots of them just seem to come on the weekend. We camped at Thousand Trails / Kenisee Lake RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Faun Lake (C2C Members Only), Bliss, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

They have a section out front by the road with about 20 sites for Coast to Coast. All W/E with good quality water and good electric. Sites are pull through but we had to park in another site. Faun Lake is a member owned park with deeded lots. They have activities and a pool. I did not go to the clubhouse. Laundry is within walking distance and very reasonable. Verizon coverage is pretty good; no cable but OTA stations come in good. There is a small trail from the C-C section into the park to go walk, plus a nice trail around the lake. We camped at Faun Lake (C2C Members Only) in a Travel Trailer.

Bass Lake Resort, Parish, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Got put in a back-in site with just W/E. Don't know why they put us here as there are so many other sites open and there are people are right behind us (sites are back to back) and the sites are small. Was told "Corporate" assigns the sites. Don't know if it's because we are C-C, but if so, they are not treating C-C guests very well considering the site they put us in. I asked for a sewer site and was told none were available but as I walked around I saw a few FHU available. Electric pedestal on the wrong side so we had to get closer to reach. Water quality is good; electric is good; level site on grass with picnic table. No cable but lots of OTA stations. Verizon coverage not very good, but acceptable. Big park with lots of things to do. Big dog park. Trail through the woods and a huge field below the storage area to walk. We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Saratoga Escape Lodges & RV Resort, Greenfield Center, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are first come, so we drove around the upper loop and checked electric, which I found had low voltage. Drove down to the loop nearer the lake and the voltage was more in the green. We found a nice level, wide site in the lower level. The water quality is good. All sites are W/E. Website says they have cable, but they don't. There are a lot of OTA antenna stations. Verizon coverage not very good, but acceptable. They have a nice pool, playgrounds and a trail around the lake to walk. Beware the mosquitos and biting flies. We camped at Saratoga Escape Lodges & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
