Desert View RV Resort, Needles, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We were on our way to the Grand canyon and we decided we had had enough of driving in the heat. So we haved stayed at the Desert View before and decided to stay again. Wow what a mistake that surely was. The park is in disarray. Palm leaves laying everywhere, patio furniture near their what used to be nice clubhouse is toppled over and garbage overflowing and stinks. The pool doesnt look very clean and the restrooms and showers well I wouldnt use them unless you have shoes on and a disinfectant spray. They are very dirty and not from just one night of not being tended to, they look like its been weeks since they have been touched. The trees are all over grown, the beautiful bushes coming into the park look like they are in desperate need of water. The electric kept popping the main breaker and the water isn't very drinkable very cloudy and smelled kind of bad! This Park used to be very nice and it is looking like no one there gives a crap what it looks like. Very much a shame. If I was the owner of this park I would truely be ashamed to say I owned it. You must not care about the park or the people honestly or you yourself would make sure it looked appealing. As far as the hosts working well we werent impressed at all. He was very rude with us and she was all over the place and not very pleasant to talk to. The wifi did not work even after calling the tech line, tried calling the business line but after several attempts no one answered the phone, tried going to the host site and none was around. We will not come back here unless the park gets better care and new owners and hosts. The previous owners took exceptional care of the park and all the hosts cared just as much and you could tell the minute you entered the Desert View. We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
