Peculiar Park Place RV Park, Peculiar, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed there 4 days because we had to be in KC area. The park was OK but not great. The biggest problem was a lack of rest rooms of any kind. Their park reviews said they had showers/rest rooms but when I went they were locked. I inquired of the attendant an he said, and I quote, "the old man said people trash them too much and they were closed."

I suspect the rest rooms are not closed to everyone. The rest rooms have combination locks. I saw several women go toward the rest rooms and return 30 minutes later. I suspect he gives the combination to those he likes and not others.

There were lots of permanent looking rigs and people. I would guess 60% of the residents were long term. At least someone should change his adds and ratings to indicate no rest rooms of any kind. We camped at Peculiar Park Place RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lazy Day Campground, Danville, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed there for a quick overnight recently. Very nice park. Level sites and good facilities. Offered from DVD for the night. Only drawback I can see is there is not much to do in the close area. We will be going back and look around more. Might be more to do than we thought. We camped at Lazy Day Campground in a Motorhome.
