Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park and located conveniently to Bryce Canyon. You can catch a shuttle bus to the park near the office for the RV park. We stayed in the newer section which had a nice, large grass area and a rock area with a sunken fire pit. All in all we had a very nice stay at the park. Our only complaints are the sprinklers for the grass area by each of the sites in the newer part of the park are not set up to just water the grass. Each morning we were greeted with a wet, muddy mess outside the door to our motor home. And, a park employee patrols the new sites every evening to tell everyone to get their dogs off the grass. While I can understand that they don't want dogs doing their business on the grass, there is no reason that dogs shouldn't be allowed to lay on the grass, when there is no restriction for chairs, tables, etc. on the grass. We found the employees demeanor and message to be quite annoying. We probably will visit the park again sometime in the future, but hopefully they will have addressed the watering issue and calmed down on the "no dogs on the grass" rule. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Wine Country RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $95.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park that is conveniently located in beautiful Paso Robles. Big rig friendly. There are dirt and concrete pads and three dog park areas, one of which is very large and good for playing with your dog. Sites are generally level. Public restrooms and the laundry facility are well maintained. There is a pool and jacuzzi and an adult only jacuzzi. The adult only jacuzzi is large and provides a nice view of area. A large water park is located across the street for the kids to enjoy and adults can walk next door and through a vineyard to EOS winery for wine tasting. We have stayed at Wine Country RV Park for the past four years for two weeks at a time, but we most likely will not return until reservation/cancellation policies are revised and local park management is changed (the current Park Manager ignores reservation policies for her favorite guests and is rude). Beware of the amount of deposit required and the severe cancellation penalty regardless of the reason you have to cancel. It doesn't matter if the Park is able to rent your site after you cancel and do not suffer a financial loss. Vacation Rental by Owners will be a better fit for us on our next trip to the Paso Robles area. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Motorhome.
