M RV Resort , Moore Haven, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This was out third - and last - season at this place. We did, in the past, enjoy this park and made many good friends (see my earlier review). Unfortunately the new manager there lacks the skills to maintain a welcoming and friendly environment. We were exposed to threats and intimidation and often felt like being in a school camp rather than a senior resort. We have decided to take our money to another resort. We camped at M RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Southern Oaks RV Resort, Summerfield, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed a week here because of the parks proximity to the Villages. This is a very clean, well maintained park. We were on a site that had new concrete pads. There is a nice new pool, but it is a bit small if you like to swim (I think max dephth is under 5 ft).

The park is located right besides Camping World and 10 min from the Villages. We would have liked to stay one more day, but they would not prorate that day to the weekly rate, and so we took our business elsewhere. We camped at Southern Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a large grass field between the park and Camping World. This is a much better place to run your dog than the 'sewer pit' provided by the park.

New Green Acres RV Park , Walterboro, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed two nights on our way up North. This is a good park for snowbirds who need a night's rest and don't want to go to Walmart.

It is all large pull throughs. Sites are all grassy and spacious. Some have sewer hook up, and some don't. There is a pool, but there is no water in it, haha (supposedly its being repaired). There are a couple of showers, but they definitely have seen better days. Worth mention is a very nicely equiped dog run. All in all, not bad to spend a night or two. We camped at New Green Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

M RV Resort , Moore Haven, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We are snowbirds and spent three month in this park. Yes, it is in the middle of nowhere, but this is exactly the beauty of it. No traffic, inexpensive restaurants, easy one hour drive to either coast or Miami. And best of all, there are ample thins to do if you look for it: kayaking, target shooting, wilderness exploration, etc.

The park is well maintained and offers a great activity program. They even have a little restaurant on site that offers fast food almost at cost! There is a good size pool and the camp sites are very spacious. Needless to say, the people in this park are very friendly, and because the large majority of them are RV'ers, you are not look at as a nuisance like in parks where there are a lot of 'park model people'.

The crazy thing about this park is how inexpensive it is! We have for many years stayed at other parks in this area and never seen anything like this. We camped at M RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Kayaking the Fisheating creek (10 min from the park) is spectacular. Fahrly's restaurant in LaBelle is the best around.

Saddle West Hotel Casino & RV Park, Pahrump, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second time here on our way to California. We absolutely love this place. For 25 bucks you get a level, paved, full service lot with access to a great pool, modern laundry, clean washroom and showers. And to top it off, their casino has the loosest slots around and of course free drinks.

The only awkward thing is that they put a $50 hold on your credit card when you check in. But like I said, we've been here before and they are good at releasing the hold. Nothing to worry about. We camped at Saddle West Hotel Casino & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Try the casino here. Loose slots! We paid $25 for the lot and walked away with $ 175 winnings from the slots, plus lots of free drinks.

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We spent the night here on our way to California. We were surprised about the great full service site we got for $24 plus $7 park fee. A great value! the motor home sites are spacious, level and each site has a fire pit and a shelter. Would stay here again if we had a chance. We camped at James M.
