Camp Blanco RV Park, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

My rate reflects a 1 day of a monthly rate! I love this RV park! It's right in town and you can walk to the grocery store, the library and the restaurants and shops downtown. The Dollar General and a combination laundromat and car wash are right across the street. The Port Orford Dock area, better known as Dog Beach to the regulars is also less than a mile and an easy walk. Battle Rock Beach is just a little further. My dog loves them both. The owner and the host are helpful, informative, super friendly and accommodating. The park is very well kept and both guys are always raking, cleaning, de-spider webbing the grounds. There's no extra charge for your dog (and there's a lovely, large dog area) or for Wifi (which is EXCELLENT!) or for cable. They've got the most affordable rates on the coast from my research. Oh! Must mention that the women's shower is the cutest, cleanest and most spacious that I've ever used. Lots of hot water, a heater, double sink vanity area. It's 25 cents for 10 minutes of very hot water with good pressure. I love it here! I think I'll stay! We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

In the summer there's a small Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. Try the trails from the Coast Guard Museum out to the ocean. The vistas are spectacular! Mind the 30mph limit in town! The police are lying in wait and I've seen lots and lots of stops made.

Millsite RV Park, Myrtle Creek, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Super nice camp hosts here! They are very accommodating and go out of their way to help. It's next to a huge park which was great for my dog as there isn't a "dedicated" dog area within the campground. Well maintained and the hook-ups were perfectly placed for my travel trailer. Nice little free lending library box here too! I will certainly stop again if I'm in the area. I mean, really, $25 per night for full hook-ups?? How can you beat that?! We camped at Millsite RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Friendly RV Park, Weed, California

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The owners are SO nice here and they are obviously "park proud" because the park is lovely and well-maintained. I enjoyed it here surrounded by tall trees with Mt. Shasta in the background. I have a small TT so had no trouble staying hitched for my overnight stay in a pull through spot. Nice dog park area with bags provided. Would definitely stay again! We camped at Friendly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cal Expo RV Park, Sacramento, California

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good park to stay while visiting Sacramento. It's close to major shopping, restaurants and theaters and not too far from the Capitol (a MUST see!) Mgmt was so accommodating of the multiple changes I made to my reservation that I can't say enough nice things about their patience with me. Very well kept dog park that my girl enjoyed several times a day. If you're going in summer be advised Sacramento is frequently over 100 degrees and this park only has a few shaded spots. The best is #211! You can't open your awning but you don't need to because 2 tall trees provide ample shade all day. We camped at Cal Expo RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
