Whistlers Campground (Parks Canada), Jasper National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are nicely separated. We had electric, no water or sewer. Sites were in loops and in the middle are trees with grass where one night a group of elk made camp. Lots of trees so plenty of shade. Bike trails from camp will take you in town. Stayed four nights, would definitely come back. We camped at Whistlers Campground (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Bow RiversEdge Campground, Cochrane, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are separated by hedges with grass. Stayed 2 nights. Walking trail nearby with easy access to gas and groceries. Came during the Stampede and they have a rule saying no access after 11pm I guess they lock the gates. Perhaps there was a large group coming back late but I didn't have a problem coming in after 11pm. We camped at Bow RiversEdge Campground in a Motorhome.

Glendo Lakeside RV Park, Glendo, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed two nights. Very spacious spots but not worth hanging outside. Access to lake was the main purpose, and I needed hookups (hot). Heard the train but not horrible. We camped at Glendo Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wallace RV Park , Wallace, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed three nights and did most of the touristy things in town. Stream behind the campsite, but didn't spend much time hanging out. Although it was a tight squeeze, it was a quiet park. SInce you're in a canyon, shade isn't really an issue. We camped at Wallace RV Park in a Motorhome.

Keyhole State Park, Moorcroft, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Didn't use bathrooms. Stayed for two nights. Trees in most of the sites. I had a clear view of the water where we left our kayaks by the shore. Able to walk right to kayaks and take them out. Not much boat traffic, no wake zone along the campsite area. Would definately stay here again. We camped at Keyhole State Park in a Motorhome.

Allen Ranch, Hot Springs, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

So this is hard to rate for mixed reasons. I do not have Passport America so I paid the full rate for w/e, I also had the pull through sites by the road (not a good thing). I looked elsewhere when I found out, but summer weekends with hookups were nowhere to be found. Would be great if got a site by the stream. I rated high because the stream was a blast! Made the rate digestable. We camped at Allen Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Evans Plunge is fun. Go in morning, leave when crowded in afternoon and come back later. The campsite provides tubes, but adults need your own or you'll get scraped up.

Steel Wheel Campground, Deadwood, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for two nights. Although we were close to the road, we didn't hear it at all. Our site had a concrete slab with it's own trash can. Didn't eat at the resturant but the little store had a good peanutbutter rice krispy. Chose this because of afternoon shade from the hill. Might want to unhook before going over Strawberry HIll from Deadwood. We camped at Steel Wheel Campground in a Motorhome.

Boise Riverside RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed three nights. Central location, there is a bike trail along the river that takes you to a zoo and other sites. It's right next to the fair grounds so be sure there isn't an event if you want quiet time. There was a dirt bike show one night but it was over before we went to bed. Definitely an RV park vs. a camping park. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Swiftwater RV Park & Store, White Bird, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are very close together. The back of your site is against the Salmon River, so it's nice but you can definitely hear the people around you. Stayed 3 nights, really only needed two nights. Drove to other site down the road, and this one seemed better than the other one. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Motorhome.

Parker's Resort, Guerneville, California

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here midweek and we had the park basically to ourselves, minus the three apparent full timers. For $43 I would expect there to be a dump on site. Be aware...there is NO sewage dump station. Very clean, used showers because there is no dump and those were clean with hot water. It is within walking distance from the town. Very quiet at night despite the proximity to Neely Rd. Was here three days before we saw the park managers, good thing we didn't need anything. We camped at Parker's Resort in a Motorhome.
