Golden Spike RV Park, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good park very convenient to I-15 but not noisy. All the staff were very helpful and always pleasant. The sites are tight, but grass with a table between and sites are level. WiFi was the best we have encountered. Good power, water, and wifi. Cable TV included with a free newspaper included. Their store appears to be well stocked with RV related merchandise. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

Elks Lodge #1858 (Members Only), Florence, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Florence Elks club have 2 RV Parks, one at the Elks Lodge and a park like setting approximately 3 miles north of Lodge. We stayed at the RV park north of town Nice campground with clean bath rooms and showers. The park hosts were the best. They are very friendly and tried to meet any of your needs. I had RV problems and even though they were full, the hosts made sure I had a space for the three extra days it took to get my RV fixed. Wifi was good with our booster antenna. Park has a cell phone amplifier at clubhouse so you can use cell in the lodge only. The clubhouse also has a landline available for local calls which really helped. Each spot have bushes dividing sites. Dog friendly. Most sites can get satellite reception. We would stay there again. The one drawback was that did not have sewer at site. We camped at Elks Lodge #1858 (Members Only) in a Motorhome.

Honey Bear By the Sea RV Resort and Campground, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The rate reflects the monthly rate. Our view of the ocean was really wonderful. However, not all "ocean view" sites really have an ocean view. The campground itself is quiet and the layout is really nice. Lots of trees, flowers, bushes, meadows and great areas for tenters. Easy access to beach, even though one needs to cross HY 101. Unfortunately, electricity wiring is old, and of low voltage , WiFi is a joke, and cable TV needs to be drastically upgraded.

The owner cooks, and serves "German" dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. He also entertains the guests with his harmonica after dinner. Of course, different people, different tastes ... So everyone has to judge by themselves. However, in our opinion the food was too expensive in comparison to the taste. Also, we thought the owner to be a little too grumpy, and sometimes even rude towards us, meaning his guests. We did not use the showers/bathrooms.

In short the campground as well as the owner needs to be overhauled. We camped at Honey Bear By the Sea RV Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.
