Dos Reis Regional Park, Lathrop, California

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

For one night, it was not bad. The park is small but can accommodate big rigs, there are a few pull-throughs. Easy access from the Interstate. As we drove around there appeared to be several reserved but on closer inspection, these were for the previous days. It was very quiet. The host lives in a home at the park. Seemed like there were a lot of flies. We camped at Dos Reis Regional Park in a Motorhome.

Sherwood Harbor, Sacramento, California

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We could not maneuver our 40' motorhome into this park. The manager called us earlier in the day and because we were arriving late (8pm), instructed us to make a "quick right" into the park. We had never stayed here before and came in from Consumnes River Blvd. Big mistake. The road is narrow and dark with low hanging branches all along the way. The 'quick right' was virtually impossible. A woman ran out to meet us and told us to continue another half mile to turn around to enter from the north. Even after doing that, our 20 year RVing experience told us the steep entrance road was too risky especially at night. We opted to dry camp overnight at a nearby Home Depot. We camped at Sherwood Harbor in a Motorhome.

Valley of the Rogue State Park, Gold Hill, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access from the interstate in our 40' motorhome, paved roads, no low branches. Parked in a pull through. Altho the campsites are close nor private, it was quiet and peaceful the one night we were there. We'd like to go back. We camped at Valley of the Rogue State Park in a Motorhome.
