Fernbrook RV Park, Longview, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest parks we have stayed in. Everything is well cared for, the folks in the office are very nice. I can see why this park gets consistent 10's. We camped at Fernbrook RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cochise Terrace RV Resort, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We have stopped at Cochise Terrace couple of times passing through Arizona and have found it a great park to hookup and spend the night. They have a large area for "guests" to stay. Very well kept and quiet, WiFi is spotty but works good in the lounge if you need to do more than just emails. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Gas up on the way to I-10 just down the street (I guess that is actually a highway).

Abilene RV Park, Abilene, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Despite the fact that the woman who checked us in was very nice and welcoming, the park is bad. We actually paid for 2 nights and after the first night, took off at first light. The freeway roar, not noise makes relaxing and sleeping impossible even with ear plugs. I am guessing over 75% of the "residents" are living there full time. It was muddy and not kept up. I suppose there is nothing they can do about ants, but the nest was right outside our door, where the neighbors sewer pipe occasionally emitted sewer odor. My wife found a 4" water bug in the shower stall. So, even if you are just passing through as we were, keep going. We camped at Abilene RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sky Mountain Resort RV Park, Chama, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park, we had to back in to our site but it was very nice, trees abound. No cable but we were out and about most of the time. Nice fire pit if you choose to have a fire. Beautiful Rio Chama right behind the park and Rainbow trout are plentiful. Overall, great place to stay while riding the train and visiting the surrounding area. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Sky Mountain Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.
