Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park), Dothan, Alabama

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Although this campground is on a busy highway, we felt safe and secure there. Easy hookup, nice pull-thru sites. The only negative was a site that was not at all level. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was hooking up our electric in the rain, and a staff member came over and held an umbrella over me. In our thirty-five years camping, this is the first campground where we were treated as guests rather than customers. We will be back. We camped at Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Dothan is Alabama's Mural City, with many beautiful murals throughout town. Whimsical peanuts dressed in various attire everywhere (we especially liked the peanut dressed in brown shirt and shorts in front of the UPS store. Home to the National Peanut Festival.

Jude Travel Park, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

First visit to New Orleans. Security was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Train tracks were behind the campground, but there was not enough noise to be an issue. We would stay there again. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

National World War II Museum is a must! 4th ranked museum in the U.S, 11th ranked museum in the world. Easy drive to many plantations in the area, as well as the New Orleans Museum of Art.
