Gateway to Cape Cod RV Campground, Rochester, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Very comfortable and spacious sites. They are dirt, so rainy weather could be problematic. Woodsy setting. Plenty of space between sites for use of fire ring and picnic table. Nice staff. Newly renovated large pool. It is a bit of a drive to the mid-Cape area. No problem with entrance road as cited by others. Renewed our interest in the Thousand Trails system. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Naples Motorcoach Resort, Naples, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

Very beautiful resort with a fantastic clubhouse and main pool (infinity) and hot tub! There were two more pools/spas which we didn't use. We stayed lakefront near the clubhouse and loved it! There is also a cute beachfront area on one end of the lake. Lady in office who checked us in was extremely helpful with pointing out things in area like grocery stores, shopping etc. Many lovely beaches in Naples and of course on Marco Island and Sanibel Island which are in driving distance. We camped at Naples Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Everglades Isle Motorcoach Resort (Class A only), Everglades City, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

Wow what a great place! Amazing clubhouse and great pool and hot tub! The owners there are so welcoming--we had a blast with them!! The manager and his wife, and the clubhouse bartender were so nice and fun also! Our site was on the waterway and we loved watching the airboats--took a ride on one as well. We also had a Tiki hut which we enjoyed! We stayed for a special 3 nights for $199 offer. Would definitely love to go back!! Jolly Roger Travel Park, Marathon, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed this place! Not super fancy, but very nice and very comfortable! Great staff--pleasant and helpful! Nice pool and immaculate restrooms and shower area. Loved the tiki island--the views of the water from here (and many sites) were awesome--perfect for sunset viewing!! I hear it can get rowdy with parties on the weekend, but we were there during the week. Their taking Passport America (for some sites) made it a great value! We would definitely book again! We camped at Jolly Roger Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

A great park in one of our favorite places..Hilton Head, SC! Friendly people, nice hot tub! Great place to bike and walk! Only concern was the number of trees over the motorhomes on most lots, many dropping dead branches...husband concerned about that! Otherwise loved it and can't wait to go back! We camped at Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $92.00
Overall Rating:

I honestly was very disappointed with our site and our stay. Having stayed in several Disney resorts over the years, and now owning an RV, I expected the same level of quality and cleanliness previously experienced. Upon arrival our site was not clean, littered with bottle caps, cigarette butts and branches. We were on loop 200 and all sites were crowded and very sandy. WiFi didn't work at all! Meadows pool recently started closing at 8 pm, way too early. Ole Swimming hole was open late, in theory. The pool was closed the entire 7 nights of our stay I was told there was a mechanical issue. That happens so open Meadows later. Kids want to swim!! The common areas and grounds were much nicer than the sites we saw and more up to standards. Nice area to bike ride. Bus transportation was good. Boat transportation varied. Very long waits at times while other resorts were getting prompt boat service. I do like that large families can be accommodated here unlike many Disney resorts...(our group rented two sites however). We were told that other loops have much more space and did not experience the debris we did, but this is where we were placed and were told the park was full. When I voiced my concerns a manager said "give us another chance". I honestly would like to in the hopes that it would be a better experience, as overall there is a nice feel here. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Elite Resorts at Citrus Valley, Clermont, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

We felt very at home and comfortable here...pristine sites...great park to take walks...nice events that renters were welcome at! Met many lovely people both those who worked there or were staying there, tenters and owners alike! There were a few cons: the wifi is not good which is a pain. Also you do need to get a cable box if you want full cable...can be a pain returning it when leaving. Also I will say I was disappointed the pool was hardly ever open. We stayed 6 nights prior to meeting family at Disney and then returned for 4 nights after. Our weather was chilly much of the time but a few days when it was warm out the cover was still on...when I asked why I was told it had been shocked. Overall this is a great place! Give me good wifi and a hot tub and it would be a 10+! We camped at Elite Resorts at Citrus Valley in a Motorhome.

Hershey RV & Camping Resort, Lebanon, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $3.00
Overall Rating:

Do not go here after dark if you are unfamiliar with the place. We reserved a site giving the required size details of our motorhome as members of Thousand Trails. When we arrived there was no appropriate site and we were basically told 'good luck' finding something. Somehow my husband managed to get our large RV backed in on top of a hill, after both of us fell trying to maneuver the tow dolly into the site with no lighting in the park and lots of rocks. When I went to the ranger station to let them know which site we were in (my license was held until we did this) I complained about not getting what we had reserved. This ranger was rude and waved a paper at me saying "this is all the info I get". Perhaps Thousand Trails needs to better communicate with their resorts. The next morning I met a nice couple who told me there are overflow spots with power in the parking lot for late arrivals. This was never mentioned to us but would have alleviated huge stress! It's unfortunate because the park itself is very nice and well kept. No lighting to speak of but many nice sites if you can get one. This experience doesn't make us want to continue our Thousand Trails membership. We camped at Hershey RV & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park within walking distance to Williams--a neat Western town on Route 66 with nice stores and restaurants. Great price using Passport America! Well maintained, and guests can use the hotel pool and hot tub, which are great and not too far away! Nice rv store! On the downside the cable did not work well and our site had no WiFi in range. The trains are loud--it is a train station--but that really didn't bother us. We would definitely recommend and stay here again! We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

A wonderful place to stay while in Las Vegas! Great price! Great pool and hot tub!! Nice staff! 24 hour security! We did have one glitch, outside light buzzed all one night right outside our bedroom, needed replacing. Night person did come to look but couldn't do anything. Didn't get fixed next day due to rain but they did disconnect so no noise. felt they could have 'comped' us a night for the lost sleep. With the discount rate I didn't want to ask. Still a '10' in my book! Would definitely recommend and stay again! We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.
