Hemet RV Resort (formerly Mountain Valley RV Resort), Hemet, California

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

NOT a resort! Almost nothing for activities, save for a puny bingo game on Wed. nights and an ice cream social (costs a buck, two for a root beer float) on Saturday. I realize it is summer, but what 'resort' doesn't have activities? The clubhouse has no air conditioning, RV spaces are tiny and close together, very few trees so no shade, mostly permanent residents, many old dilapidated units, several old mobiles located in park. Manager is pleasant enough, but assistant is an admitted pothead who is rude and complains constantly about how she doesn't have enough time to do all the work they demand from her. Although the facilities are clean, it is more a place that caters to low-income permanent residents who have nowhere else to go. They should be ashamed to call this place a resort. We camped at Hemet RV Resort (formerly Mountain Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Davis Camp Park, Bullhead City, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a week. Friendly staff, smallish spaces, the dry camping spaces by the river are bigger, but we weren't equipped for that. Clean, basically nice park, but I agree that the price seems a bit high for a county park. We will be coming back in the spring and intend to stay again, because we like the simplicity of the place, and enjoy being right on the river. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Fifth Wheel.
