The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek, Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park. I've stayed twice in 2015, both early in the season and late. Very quiet both times. I think my site number was 110, next to the walkway bridge over the creek at the extreme west end of the park. Walking distance to town with shops, restaurants. The peace and quiet is better than any park we've stayed. Just have to love the setting. Stayed with a Class A Motothome, found the access in/out a bit tight but not impossible. We camped at The Canyon RV Resort on Sinclair Creek in a Motorhome.

Rio Bend RV & Golf Resort, El Centro, California

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We came here after we left a narrow street park a bit east of here so loved the wide paved streets. Nothing else going on around this place though. If you need something and don't have a car....good luck. The sites are gravel so plenty of dust into your unit in a hurry. We were here in November, plenty of snowbirds, seem to like the golf course but that's it, nothing else going on. El Centro isn't a particularly well kept town so if you are okay with that you might like this spot. I do like the distance off the Freeway, very quiet spot. We camped at Rio Bend RV & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Walking from this place not very good as the roads all serve the farming community. Not much nearby.

Cocopah Bend RV and Golf Resort, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

If you don't mind trying to find a place that is out of the way, this is the place for you. Golf has to be at the top of your list. Appears the course is good, I am not a golfer have no idea if a good course or otherwise.

The odd thing here though is the streets are so narrow and marked as one way but everyone goes the other way! We were there in a 45' and found the access to this location very much out of the way and then once there the planner was not thinking about anything other than the long term park model resident. Also, if you have a pet you will likely get parked near the entrance, we were placed further toward the back of the park. Coming and going not ideal at all. Corners tight and the streets very narrow. We stayed in site 12, too complicated to be there for only a few nights. The site was fine, nice neighbors. if you show up here without chairs or a table, be prepared these folks don't provide the basics. There is a concrete pad beside your site but if you drive a Class A, the pad is in the wrong place. The step will go onto gravel and then the pad is mid Coach. We camped at Cocopah Bend RV and Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

South Forty RV Ranch (55+ Park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in Site 108, not sure how it happens but every time we check into a new campground, the unit next door is run down and delapidated. Happened here too. Otherwise pretty decent spot. Wifi is a bad deal....if you need wifi, Tengointernet is lousy.

Used the wifi at the office on a daily basis and that worked well. A nuisance to have to do that though. The train is a bit of a bother, but after about the third night you will get used to it. Pretty good place overall. We camped at South Forty RV Ranch (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

Outdoor Resort Indio, Indio, California

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $105.00
Overall Rating:

This place is over priced for what you get. I get it, many of the folks here own their site and come and go as they please but in quiet times they rent out their sites. The park had many empty spaces in November and I suppose they get busier after Christmas.

We stayed 4 nights and found this place lacking on several fronts. We stayed in site 104, okay site but worth about 2/3rds of what they charge. Sewer smell....not good at all. On calm nights one would think a place of this caliber would have this under control. Not so. WiFi. Such a simple promise and such a simple service to deliver. It worked for about 2 hours on Monday morning. That's it. The front end promised that they called someone. Didn't work on Tuesday or Wednesday. The minute you check in they pre-authorize a $25 cleaning fee in the event you leave a drop of oil on the pad when you leave! The outdoor kitchen at our site was in sad shape, didn't use it.

If you want to pay the price, your call but plenty of options in the area which are better value....enjoy. We camped at Outdoor Resort Indio in a Motorhome.
