Sundermeier RV Park, Saint Charles, Missouri

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here to do some shopping on Main Street. The sites are concrete but instead of grass between the sites, there is mostly gravel, and there is no shade. It was convenient to St Charles shops but overpriced. I would not stay here again. We camped at Sundermeier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Covered Bridge RV Park & Storage, Fenton, Missouri

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Management is horrible, very rude. She acted like she was doing us a favor renting a spot. On the phone with one of her children, I'm guessing, while I stood there waiting. The park itself is an old mobile home park with few amenities. Two of the four dryers weren't working. A neighbor said they had been broken for months. No showers, pool, and only one small bathroom located in the laundromat. No picnic tables. No fires allowed. Most RVs were permanent but neighbors we talked to seemed nice enough. There was a sewer smell as we walked our dogs. We won't stay here again. We camped at Covered Bridge RV Park & Storage in a Fifth Wheel.

Marion Campground & RV Park, Marion, Illinois

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

A no frills RV park. Sites are level. This is a gravel and grass park with some pull throughs. Showers are well maintained and private. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a small park and an area to walk your dogs. I would stay here again. We camped at Marion Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Taneycomo Resort, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park located next to their lakefront motel. Lots are level and all utilities worked well. They have a small store located in the motel office for soda, snacks, bait, etc. You have to walk through the motel to get to Lake Taneycomo (which was the White River). My boys did some trout fishing from their dock. They have a small pool which was well used and well maintained. My only real complaint was the lack of shade. Not a tree in sight. I would stay here again. We camped at Taneycomo Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a few miles outside of downtown Branson on the other side of Taneycomo. The road is two lanes and very curvy.
