Wekiva Falls RV Resort, Sorrento, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We are here for Dec & Jan for our 1st visit. Took advantage of the monthly rates which saved us about 50% over the discounted nightly rate above. This family owned and operated facility is well maintained and improving. The pool, grounds, clubhouses, store, and especially laundry facilities are immaculately kept. Love the large modern machines that offer the convenience of plastic money if you have no quarters! ~ There are scheduled activities: games, dances, craft classes, toy car races, and fabulous food events including dinners, potluck, and ice cream social events. The sites are large, level, and most have new concrete patio slabs. The swimming lagoon and fountain are lovely. Not crazy about the sulfur spring aroma, but it won't keep us from coming back. We camped at Wekiva Falls RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

All of the modern shopping and dining you could want is a short, 10-15 minute drive away. The town of Sanford on Lake Monroe is fun to walk around and offers local café dining.

Savannah South KOA, Richmond Hill, Georgia

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Though the sites were close together, they were shaded and level. The view of the pond was lovely. We were only there one night, but we have scheduled to return in March 2016 and there is a discount price for the weekly stay. The truly free WiFi and cable worked well. The store and laundry facility were clean and well appointed. We camped at Savannah South KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

They have a trolley tour bus stop at the camp office for Savannah. It is one of the things that is bringing us back in March 2016.
