Temecula / Vail Lake KOA, Temecula, California

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the Lower Merlot campground. When we arrived the water pressure was very low but after contacting the office a maintenance worker came by the site and fixed the problem. The main water valve for three sites, we were in one of them was almost all the way off. Took the grandkids mini golfing, which was free. Other than leaves on the course we all had a great time. Ten minuted down the road is every type of store/resturant you would ever need. Now that this is a KOA I would be back. Back in the day this place was known as the party campground. It is much better now. Some of the roads are still full of potholes. We camped at Temecula / Vail Lake KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Riverside Campground & Cabins, Big Sur, California

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

It had just rained so there was quite a bit of mud. Some of the sites had barked down which made it nice. Other sites didn't and it was just a mud hole. There is no cell phone service and no dump station. We camped at Riverside Campground & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Banning Stagecoach KOA, Banning, California

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Other than evening walks around the campground we were either playing cards in the RV or visiting Oak Glen. The only negative was the air conditioning was not working in the game room. Over all it was a nice campground. We camped at Banning Stagecoach KOA in a Motorhome.

Calico Ghost Town & Campground, Yermo, California

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

I have camped at Calico in the past and year after year it is always the same. The section of the campground we stayed in is close to the Ghost Town. They don't have a camp store in the campground but up at the Ghost Town they a general store. Came to off-road in the local hills with a Jeep. The upper camp sites don't allow OHV access but the Southern section does. I'll be back. We camped at Calico Ghost Town & Campground in a Motorhome.
