Hilltop RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Although you can see this park from the highway, it is not easy to get to. You have to double back to get to it and then getting back to the highway is confusing. I wouldn't try it at night. The spaces are pretty close together. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The guy at the front desk was great! Gave us lots of info on Big Bend and had a great sense of humor. The cafe was good home cooking and a super value. The waitress was very pleasant and friendly. The absolute BEST place to stop between San Antonio and Las Cruces or Deming. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Stay an extra day and visit the fort and museum. This is a good place to chill for a day. Taco OJ's has great Tex-Mex food and good lunch specials.
