Sandy Lake MH & RV Resort, Carrollton, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park for two weeks. First off, park has long term residents, who have trash and personal items all over and under their travel trailers. Sites are way too close together and navigating the roads and backing in is impossible. Sites are very unleveled and the sewer hookups are far away from where you park. Out of necessity we were going to make reservation there again due to another park being closed when we said we had two adults and a puppy 8wks old, they asked what breed, we replied chow shepard mix, the told us we could no longer stay there due to our dog being a aggressive breed. 8wk old puppy! Dog friendly?? I think not. We camped at Sandy Lake MH & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Lewisville Lake Park Campground, Lewisville, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this camp site for a few years now. Always loved it felt like home. But as of recently park has gone down hill. Laundry facilities are always out of order, one out of the four washers is always out of order even dryers dont dry clothes. Bathrooms and showers are filthy, used razors laying around. Now on to the biggest thing, transients! Drunk dirty homeless people wandering in harassing rv'ers trying to get into the bathroom facilities. Hanging out at all times of the night. Asking to use your restroom in your RV. Doesnt feel safe anymore. Also may patrons living in vans with personal property laying all over the outside. This all makes me sad since this place used to be great. The city meeds to put some real money and time into this site. We camped at Lewisville Lake Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.
