Smokin' Joe's Rib Ranch and RV Park, Davis, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to stay, we were here for a month and never had any issues. They have 3 different locations, that are all easily accessible to I-35. The price was based on our monthly rate, not sure of the nightly. They keep the place very well maintained, and the sites are good sized. They also have a great BBQ restaurant on site, with extremely generous portions. I really don't have any negative comments about this place. We camped at Smokin' Joe's Rib Ranch and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Riverview RV Park, Sand Springs, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This wasn't our first go around with this park. Unfortunately, due to surrounding RV parks being full, we had to stay at this one, again. This park is located in a pretty area, and is decently maintained. But, the husband/wife who run this facility sorely lack in "customer service" and "manners" and that is putting it mildly! The way they talk to their "patrons" is quite condescending! If you need assistance with anything regarding their hook-ups, be prepared to feel like a nuisance!! I asked for help regarding the cable, and you would have thought I asked for their first born! (And, they never did come help!) Each site doesn't have it's own cable, so every 4 sites or so, their will be a jumbled up mess of cables and 4 different cords stretching across the yards, and underneath RV'S to hook-up for tv. Other than that and their rude demeanor, the park itself is entirely too full. They could take out a few spots, to make room for more decent sized sites, especially with their outrageous rates, that I'm pretty sure they make up depending on how much they feel like charging when you arrive. They have a "bath house/laundry facilities" but, they only have a couple washers and dryers that aren't very good, I used once and after that used the local laundromat. If you are looking for a nice, affordable RV park, go a few more miles down the road to Oak Ridge, they don't have laundry or bath house, but their monthly rates are $75 cheaper, that includes electric, DirecTV, and a very sweet lady who runs the place! We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
