Camp Gulf, Miramar Beach, Florida
Date of Stay:
March, 2018 -
$110.00
Overall Rating:
Very neat and clean with more activities than you can take advantage of in one day. Beach, pools, hot tub, activity centers, golfing and shopping close. Sites are well spaced for a resort on the beach and could be tight in places but campground hosts are great helping to park and streets are plenty wide for our 45 ft big rig. Daily rate this time of year is expensive but the location and amenities are well worth the price. Only downside to the area is traffic can be difficult on 98 at times. If you have kids this place should not be missed. We camped at Camp Gulf in a Motorhome.

Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado
Date of Stay:
August, 2017 -
$52.00
Overall Rating:
We stayed in site 21 and site 28 (pull-thru) and like all of the sites we viewed in our 5 day stay they had plenty of space, shade, picnic table and fire ring. Very secluded location about 2 miles off of CO 115 and very quiet and easy drive to Colorado Springs and Canon City. Laundry was great with 4 washers/dryers. The management/ownership has put a lot of effort into the property and it shows with plantings everywhere and the sites immaculate. The only downside I see possible is the lack of cell service and rocky surface everywhere but the wifi was the best we have experienced as full timers. We would definitely come back. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Go to The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey and walk the grounds and sample some of the really good wine. In Canon City about 25 minutes.
