We live 5 minutes from this park and yet, feel like we are "getting away". It has a national park feel to it even being small, with the tall trees and spacious sites. Walking trail for scenic hikes. Some sites are not suited for larger RVs, so make sure of the size before reserving. Most are level but a few are long but not level for longer rigs. We have stayed at various sites and all are on the lake with beautiful views of wildlife and the water. Interior sites are very shaded and higher so still have views of the water. 30/50amp and good water pressure. Online reservations are available with a convenience fee and payment is made in full at time of reservation. Gated entry is manned by camp hosts during business hours -with code for late entry. Guests are welcome and plenty of parking. Day use area has access to the camping area. Dump station can hold 2 rigs at once but only 1 washout hose. We camped at Pilot Knoll Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
Close to freeway, grocery 5 minutes away, lake access, shopping and restaurants nearby in Highland Village. Close to RV parts and service centers.
