Bluegrass RV Park, Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Bluegrass at one time was a good stopover for a day or two. Park is not being kept up and it shows. Limbs were growing over the area to pull thru so bad you dare not take you rigs under the low limbs. Stop signs every where along with smart a-- signs such as " WHAT PART OF SLO DON'T GET" and "SLOW DOWN OR TURN AROUND LEAVE". Owners son was constantly yelling at people in an extremely unprofessional manner. Police were in and out of the park several times during our 3 day stay. We spoke with several snowbirds that have been staying in Bluegrass for years and they were not planning to return next year due to problems. Will not spend $40.00 a night to stay again. We camped at Bluegrass RV Park in a Motorhome.

Moundville Archaeological Park, Moundville, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a week while visiting in area. Kind of a primitive area but for the price you cannot complain. People were very helpful with park information as well as area information. Only problem was the front gate lock if you came in after park closed. It was a combination lock and extremely hard to open. Other than gate lock loved this place. Coming in at night I have never seen the number of deer as this place has at night. Will stay here again. We camped at Moundville Archaeological Park in a Motorhome.

White Oak Lake State Park, Bluff City, Arkansas

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

I have camped at White Oak Lake State Park on and off since 1990. Many improvements have been done since then. This place is hard to beat as far as a place to totally relax. Cell phone service is spotty so you will not be bothered by phone call. Beautiful lake at edge of campground with boat rentals and also public boat launch. Love staying here any time I can. Site surface was asphalt, had some shade, and included a fire ring and picnic table. We camped at White Oak Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Had plans to stay in Memphis but decided to go to Tom Sawyer instead. Glad we did as we really enjoyed the river boat traffic. Park was extremely clean and maintained. Only complaint was the wifi. It was slow but park was almost completely occupied. Next time in this area we will stay here again. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.
