Green Valley RV Resort (55+), Green Valley, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice 55+ RV park that definitely caters to snow birds/permanent campers. I would say 95% of the folks here are either in park models or snow birds. So if you are in this category this is a perfect place with lots of activities. But if you are only staying for a few nights I would not advise it unless they guarantee you a slanted site. All the sites are back in and most are slanted for easier access. But the center of the park sites are 90 degree to the street back-ins and the streets are very narrow (1 lane). So backing into these sites with a rig longer than 25 feet is a challenge. And of course this is where they seem to place most of the overnight customers. And don't expect any back in advice/help from the staff. Also the site was not level at all, which surprised us. We had to back our 35' 5th wheel into a slot between a tree and the neighbors pickup which was just wide enough for the RV. Talk about tight!!! The concrete patio slabs are not flush with the ground and there are 'decorative' rocks everywhere so watch your tires! We were required to sign a form saying we were responsible for any damages while maneuvering into our site which should've given us a clue to the upcoming challenge. I feel this park was designed when rigs were a lot shorter. Streets are very narrow and corners are tight. We did use the laundry facilities and they were top notch and very clean. If we ever decide to stay again we will demand a slanted back in site. ;) We camped at Green Valley RV Resort (55+) in a Fifth Wheel.
