We found this park from the Camp Florida directory when we could not find any openings due to the Strawberry Festival. The rate we paid was high because of this special event nearby. We were pleasantly surprised to find the high degree of service in all staff, the FREE food coupons for breakfast and lunch, the shuttle service available around the property (which is adjacent to their HUGE RV sales and service facility) via golf cart, and the amenities of the RV resort (onsite pub/bar, rally center, indoor pool w/ hot tub, free morning newspaper, among others.) The sites are not large (we are only 18 feet long) but no tighter than other parks in FL. There is green space between them, but no privacy screening. There is trash pickup at your site and the resort park is easy to walk about with most everything (except the free restaurant Front Porch) in close proximity. The most unique aspect of this park (for us) was the ability to inspect and look at the many RVs available for sale on the adjacent dealership. We spent much of one day doing just that!
Other than paying a higher rate than we would like to have paid, we were satisfied with the park and would return again (perhaps to purchase a larger motor home.)
If you are considering a new purchase of RV, this would definitely be THE place to spend time looking. Much nicer way to shop than an RV show! We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.
Good access to all Tampa area events and facilities.
