Mariner's Point RV Park, Upper Queensbury, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This campground welcomes everyone as one of the family. The owner will go out of his way to ensure you are comfortable. Long weekends are well planned out to income live local music, kids crafts, fireworks and more. OPENS in early May until end October which is grateful for early/late travellers as most close down in September. Nestled along the banks of the Saint John river, there is a beautiful Sandy beach; excellent fishing, boating and swimming; fire pits and tables at each site, laundry, clean showers, and playground for the kiddies. Lots are huge which easily accommodate newer RV's with multiple slides and awnings. EACH site is offset to allow nearly everyone a view of the river. The Town of Nackawic is only 3 minutes by road to all amenities, golf club is close by, and lots of area for geo-cashing. You can even paddle to the amenities if you'd rather do so. Boat docks at the beach and boat launch in the town. This is a great location if you want to park and do day trips around the region. Historical sites, water parks, shopping, waterfalls and hiking trails and more all within 1 to 2 hours drive. If you find yourself in New Brunswick, you simply must stay a night or three. We camped with a 36' 5th wheel. 3 way hookup on modern electric, water and sewage. Our kids loved it. We have stopped road travel for a while and have settled here seasonal until life permits the travel again. See you there at Mariner's Point Campground. We camped at Mariner's Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mariner's Point RV Park, Upper Queensbury, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Massive sites compared to other campgrounds we stayed in previously around the area. Water view from every site of the picturesque Saint John river. Sandy beach with free unsupervised access. Boat docking available. Local grocery and shopping within 3 minutes of campground. Seasonal and overnighters socialize with no cliques. Local talent, childrens activities, pig roast and pot lucks for all campers (seasonal and travellers) during local holiday weekends. Playground for smaller children. Free WIFI. Just an overall great place to stay with a friendly family feeling. Only 7-10 minutes off the Trans Canada Highway at Nackawic. Definitely recommend this campground to anyone looking for a great seasonal lot or just an overnite or weekend stay. We camped at Mariner's Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

30-40 minute drive to Hartland where world's longest covered bridge is located. Approx 20 minute drive to King's Landing Settlement. A short drive to various waterfalls, a suspension bridge, World's Largest Axe and a local micro brewery. Stay for a few days and visit many tourist attractions on day excursions.
