Bledsoe Creek State Park, Gallatin, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Clean park with a mixture of motorhomes, trailers, tents etc. Lots of families with children. The park is clean with excellent bathhouses and restrooms. I never met the management. I reserved by phone and was not required to check in on arrival. No sewer but there are two dump stations on the way out of the park. We camped at Bledsoe Creek State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cragfont Mansion is nearby for tours. Built in the 1790s it is the oldest house of its kind in Tennessee. Owned by General Winchester of Revolutionary War fame.

Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Good site for visiting Asheville, but not for camping. Very tight. One neighbor's hookups were under my awning, the other's picnic table was only a few feet outside my bedroom window. WiFi was very weak, could not even open photos on Facebooks at times. The staff was very friendly, but could not reach them by phone when someone locked the ladies restroom early one morning. Restrooms/showers were clean but needed a face lift. We camped at Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Gunter Hill COE, Montgomery, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I can't say too many nice things about this campground. The slots were spacious with long level concrete pads. There was a graveled "patio" with a picnic table. The bathhouse was a 30 yard walk behind our site. We camped at Gunter Hill COE in a Travel Trailer.
