Tok RV Village, Tok, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

This is a well kept RV park. The sites are close together, but still well spaced apart. The staff was friendly and informative. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Tok RV Village in a Motorhome.

Bear Lake FamCamp (Military FamCamp), Eielson AFB, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This park is still a mess. The vegetation is overgrown in many of the sites. There are many downed limbs and branches that have not been cleaned up. We never ever saw anyone attending the place while we were here (four nights). It has the potential to be a lovely little RV park with a little more TLC. Also, the water was foamy and had a strange odor so we were afraid to drink it or even shower in it. The lake front was mowed and there was a single picnic table by the waterfront. We camped at Bear Lake FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Okanagan RV Park, West Kelowna, British Columbia

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This facility was a dump! We pulled in after a very long day on the road and though the place was pretty dumpy we stayed because we were exhausted. The place boasts about growing their own fruit! The place was overgrown, and looked more like a storage and dump area than an RV park. The place was next to a refueling station for the city of Kelowna so it was noisy all night long. We were the only ones there. We camped at Okanagan RV Park in a Motorhome.

Black Canyon Campground (formerly KOA-Black Canyon City), Black Canyon City, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This place was a huge disappointment. It could hardly be described as a "park". There is much disrepair everywhere, garbage, very long term "campers". In general, if this is the standard by which KOA operates, we'll never stay at KOA again. We only stayed one night and had we not had a reservation which would have lost us our $$, we would have driven on. We camped at Black Canyon Campground (formerly KOA-Black Canyon City) in a Motorhome.
