Premier RV Resorts of Redding , Redding, California
Date of Stay:
March, 2018 -
$51.00
Overall Rating:
After traveling 4 states to avoid winter we stayed here 1 night enroute to our home in Oregon. We found the appearance of park very clean and orderly. After our speedy check in we were guided to our space. Hookups were straight forward and no problems. Dog park was picked up after and clean and fenced. The showers were very nice and clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful in a last minute check in. If it was possible to give it a higher rating than 10 I would. Recommend highly!!! We camped at Premier RV Resorts of Redding in a Travel Trailer.
Never spent much time in Redding but I feel it's worth a look at... We do plan on coming back on our next voyage and spend a few days.

Passing through northbound and secured a spot without a reservation. The park is convenient off freeway and lots of service's close by. Has a dog park that was clean. Place filled up by evening. I would recommend for stay over. The cable does not work and was told system fried from storm. Intenet worked great and we used our air antenna which provided our needs. We camped at Springville / Provo KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed in #8 for two nights. Recommend staying in rear of resort due to road noise. We slept good it was quiet. The hosts were very nice and helpful. There is a boat dock across street which we did not use. The hot tub room was nice after a long day of traveling and we did use it. I highly recommend this resort. We camped at Glen Ayr RV Park & Motel in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed very much. A bit difficult backing into space but it was level. No sewer hookup but they did have a dump station. A bit difficult finding the resort but got help from owners. GPS not accurate. Checked out bathroom/showers and decided to use trailer instead. Pay showers. Park was in pristine condition with nice dog park not fenced in.
Would stay here again. Very quiet. We

We stayed in a spot in rear of campground next to creek. It was nice and fairly quiet. Roads were in bad shape and big ruts. Considering the location and available CG's this place worked for us. It's pretty rustic. We camped at Lolo Hot Springs Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Rafter J Bar Ranch Camping Resort, Hill City, South Dakota
Date of Stay:
June, 2016 -
$60.00
Overall Rating:
We stayed here 3 nights during our visit to Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Grounds are well maintained and picked up. Never found dog park but plenty of waking area for the pooches. We stayed in the area with cable hookup. Sites were not real level and they were close to each other. It is a large compound and a very beautiful setting. We had a pull through that was adequate for 28ft trailer and truck. We camped at Rafter J Bar Ranch Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.
Be sure to do the Needles Highway drive. There is alot of attractions in the area. Sturgis, Deadwood Etc.

Yellowstone River RV Park and Campground, Billings, Montana
Date of Stay:
June, 2016 -
$70.00
Overall Rating:
We stayed here one night. During our 2 week travels this is by far the most expensive to stay at. I spoke with fellow campers and it was the same topic of conversation. Not much to choose from in the area and I guess they know it. Had a nice dog park that is enclosed. The showers and bath rooms were clean and adequate. I've stayed at much nicer places for less but it worked for us. It was quiet at night. Spots were close in to others. We camped at Yellowstone River RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Park was clean and orderly. The dog park was a bit of a walk but nice. There is alot of area to walk the pets. The owners were great and always readily available. Stayed at a few parks before landing here and wished we could have spent another night. It was close to highway but we slept well and really did not hear traffic. Highly recommend. Easy in and out. Yellowstone Valley Inn & RV Park, Cody, Wyoming

$68.00
Overall Rating:
Very nice setting the grounds are gravel and fairly level. Spaced nicely. There is no enclosed pet runs. The employees were great and service was spot on. Very dusty and windy. We camped at Yellowstone Valley Inn & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
I was told it was close to Yellowstone Park but coming in from East side it was a travel. I would have preferred staying on West entrance after exploring. The restaurant at camp ground has great food offerings. The river really has no access to it steep bank.

This was a one night stay. Spaces are close to each other we stayed in the back loop close to the water. No sewer hook up but they do have a station.
It was quiet for most part my wife heard live music at times from across the street. The restroom and showers need attention. Not bad for the money but needs attention. We
camped at Lolo Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.
