Willard Bay State Park, Cottonwood Campground, Willard, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We only did one night as we were headed north on Interstate 15. Access is excellent from the freeway. Spaces are level with good access to power, water and sewer. We used 30 amp so not sure if 50 is available, but check their website. The camp host has been there in summer for a few years was very accommodating and friendly. Ask him about the landscaping and fruit trees his wife has put in on their host site. Freeway noise is present but if windows can be closed in your RV it is not a problem. April bugs were out so we did not sit out in the evening and kept the screen door closed. Our rig was a 32 foot Airstream so plenty of room/access here. We are not boaters but would use this as a stopover place. We camped at Willard Bay State Park, Cottonwood Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We were not there to recreate but I did see boaters with their RVs there. There is across the freeway and very close a very spacious Pilot/Flying J for big RV rigs and dump station and propane. If you have time and are heading to points south I highly suggest highways I-84, to Heber City (near Park City) and highways 40/189 to Duchesne and then 191 to Price. You can thus avoid the intense traffic of Interstate 15 between Ogden and Provo and see some very scenic area.
