TranQuil Garden RV Park, Salado, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Small, quiet park with many wide pull thru sites. No cable and only few OTA channels. Nice dog run to unleash your pets. A grassy area before entering the very shady dog run. Entrance to the park sneaks up if you're not aware but pretty easy to navigate thru. The host guided us thru via his golf cart to our site, very friendly and helpful. We camped at TranQuil Garden RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Salado was a cute little town. Chupacabra bar was cool, lots and lots of texas beer only on tap. Axis winery was a treat, very good wine. Many antique stores to peruse through. The river was cool and relaxing.

Little Vineyard RV Park & Resort, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Our 3rd stay here, we arrived after 7pm and our reservation info was waiting for us. Very friendly and helpful hosts. They stopped by our site while walking their dogs to make sure we met them and answer any questions. We had 2....where can we get local wine since the vineyards were closed. They quickly recommended Peppers Supermarket...spot on. We were able to peruse and purchase from a pretty good size local collection. Question 2 was where can we find the best green chili breakfast burrito. She immediately called a local friend and was told the gas station nextdoor had the best in town. How lucky were we. Love this park. We camped at Little Vineyard RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp), Nellis AFB, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in the circular part of the RV park, we had lots of trees and sites are very spacious. Easy access through Range road gate. Nice, enclosed dog park with grass and trees. Had to drive them during the day because July heat is unbearable on their pads. Our site didn't have cable and antenna reception was horrible. Wifi was good. Overall, very nice park, super friendly staff. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Stanislaus County Fairgrounds, Turlock, California

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Triangular grassy field with hookups along back treeline. Very old electric posts, no cable or wifi. Big sign with rules and check in procedures at park entrance. Very quiet except for the locomotive that barrels through every hour blowing his horn as if his life depended on it. It's the only RV park in town so, it's ok for one night passing thru. Would stay again if had to. Nightly rate a bit high for what you get, but again, it's this or the Walmart parking lot. We camped at Stanislaus County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Banning Stagecoach KOA, Banning, California

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park. Our first KOA and it was lovely. Nice enclosed dog park, green lawns and beautiful view of mountains. We stayed in a long pull thru because we weren't unhitching our tow car. The host was friendly and helpful. Cable and wifi awesome. Easy in and out to I-10. We camped at Banning Stagecoach KOA in a Motorhome.

Wells Fargo RV Park, Tombstone, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Awesome location, smack dab in the middle of history! We chose this park for its location and couldn't be more pleased. I agree with all other reviews here, small, tight, old rv park but the host was awesome and super friendly. He gave us military discount, thanked us for our service and then guided us into our spot. No cable but they do have a huge DVD library for guests. Set up was extremely awkward as our door opened up next to our neighbors door. Its perfect for a weekend getaway but I couldn't see staying any longer. No dog run or grass the dogs can use. We would stay again for a short visit. We camped at Wells Fargo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

While shopping, don't buy at first glance. All the shops carry the same items and not all are priced the same. We paid 10 bucks more than we should have on a copper ornament. Shop around.

Hatch RV park, Hatch, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Needed an overnight stop while passing through so it was in a convenient location. It is a cute, smaller RV park with all new hookups and sewer connections. It was kind of dark but motion sensor light poles were pretty cool. No cable or wifi, antenna didn't even pick up a channel. Spaces were long enough for our class C in pull thru, but did have to unhitch our tow car. Check in instructions were non existent and saw several other patrons searching and asking. I think 35.00 a night is too much for the quality of our stay. No dog run, no grass so finding a spot to walk the dogs was difficult. The entire park was new gravel so it was pretty level. All in all it's a convenient RV park with basic amenities. No frills. We camped at Hatch RV park in a Motorhome.

JBSA Sunny Side (Randolph AFB) Canyon Lake RV Park (Military FamCamp) , Canyon Lake, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet and nature loving park. We had multiple families of deer show up, I wish I knew before arrival, I would have brought deer corn. Paved roads, concrete pad, very spacious. Short walk down to the lake and beautiful beach. No cable or even antenna reception, I missed American Idol Finale. No internet either but this is a beautiful campsite meant for quiet time with nature and family. Fire rings and picnic tables. We will return to Sunny side again to destress from daily life. We camped at JBSA Sunny Side (Randolph AFB) Canyon Lake RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Travel Trailer.

Mountain View RV Park, Bowie, Arizona

Overall Rating:

Small rv park located behind a gas station, we missed it and had to turn around. We picked our own site as there was only one other camper there besides the owners. They had full hook up and sewer which is all we needed passing through. We would stay again while passing thru. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Oceanside RV Park, Oceanside, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

This park was very hard to locate off the main road, very small sign, we had to drive down and around the block to backtrack. I made our reservations online and the computer defaults to the first space available at the time, which was #1for us. Too small, the staff was friendly, put us in a pull through for the night. We had to live the next day because the spot we moved to was booked out during our full stay, not very convenient. The park is tight, paved and very crowded. It did have a family friendly feel with lots of kids riding beach cruisers. Alot of stray, feral cats roaming around. I love cats as they keep the rodents, snakes and bugs in check. All in all, I would stay again, but will call the park directly for reservations. We camped at Oceanside RV Park in a Motorhome.

The beach is not a quick walk like they say, you walk down the main road to the intersection then walk down several blocks. It's best to drive, especially if you want to go to the pier or the harbor.

Little Vineyard RV Park & Resort, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The park sits among a row of RV parks, plenty to choose. All gravel, no grass....even the dog park area was dirt and weeds. Dogs struggled to find a spot. Spoiled dogs I suppose. Park itself was spacious and close to empty. Other parks seemed more crowded, probably due to price. I'd stay while passing through but not for a leisure vacation spot. Oh, no wine or vineyard to be seen. We camped at Little Vineyard RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Riverway RV Park, Llano, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park close to the river. Gravel pads, good space between neighbors. Nice recreation room, showers and kitchen. We rented kayaks for the entire day, $30 dollars each. My only complaint the sticker burs that were excessive throughout the entire park, large grassy field leading out to the river and even in our space grassy patch by the rig. It made our stay feel very inconvenienced. We had to carry out dog down to the water during walks. Also spent most of the time plucking burrs from paws, flip flops and throw rugs in our rig. Nice park except for the burrs. Suggest to the park, seasonal weed treatment and being very proactive on mowing after the spring rains. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Trailer Village RV Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Clean little park, gravel roads and level sites. Small bathrooms with showers. There are small grass lawns in front of park for our Aussie to use. Cable tv only have us 4 channels, we got more on antenna. Hook ups were set up kind of strange, water and sewer hose crossed each other, the water spigot was very low on the ground sticking out about 4 inches right next to the sewer dump about 2 feet away. There was a little confusion about which patio pad was ours or our neighbor but only stayed one night so it wasnt an issue. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful offering places to eat and visit. Other guests were very friendly as well. The park is just down the road from main street so it was very quick to eat. All in all, this park is quaint and we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cute, clean, well planned park. The attendant in the check-in/store was friendly and very helpful. Discounts at every turn. 2 gravel dog parks, no thorns in the dog park but some walking to the park. Private shower/bathrooms. Wi-Fi was OK, chromecast didn't connect but phones did. Well stocked store, no alcohol. The crater site was a must see, lots of stairs and walking, wear good shoes. Crater staff was extremely friendly. We would definitely stay again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.
