Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $89.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in mid April. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. Old Tucson, Tombstone 1 1/2-2 hours away. Close to freeway but not too noisy. Loved the large solar panels that were over our site. Kept temps cooler even tho it was April. Completely fenced so felt pretty safe, with guard house at entrance. Loved the mature lemon trees throughout. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Calico Ghost Town & Campground, Yermo, California

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed overnight on our way to the Grand canyon in B10. Sites are primitive, remote, &"rustic". Full hookups, everything worked fine. Very uneven site, very close together but luckily it was midweek so no one around us. I would probably stay in the A's next time. Ghost town was fun & interesting. Glad we came. We camped at Calico Ghost Town & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed under the large solar panels for 4 nights. The first few days the weather was in the low 70's, but once it got hotter, I was so thankful for the 10 degree difference in the shade from them! Large lemon trees at almost every site. You are able to pick them & use. If you stay on a weekend, ask for as far away from the Registration/Event Center as you can get. The noise from the event music is loud & annoying! Otherwise, great stay. Very Conveniently located for visiting Old Tucson, Tombstone, downtown Tucson, and many of the parks and museums in the area. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Arizona Oasis RV Resort , Ehrenberg, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 1 night each coming & going to Tucson & back. It was great both times! We requested a riverfront site which backs right up to the Colorado River & beautiful lawn area. We arrived after dark & the office was closed. They left our packet for us. The park is behind fenced gates so that made us feel very safe. I would highly recommend this park! Don't let the 6.9 rating fool you. If you read the reviews, the ones that aren't so great go back a few years to previous owners. They deserve much higher rating. We camped at Arizona Oasis RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The RV repair place down the road isn't much to look at, but the owner is very knowledgeable & helpful.
